From nola.com:
A 55-year-old man is wanted on suspicion of shooting dead his ex-wife's new boyfriend in Marrero, according to the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office. The fatal shooting happened Friday night (March 24) in the 4100 block of Ames Boulevard.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Dionicio Ibarra, 55, in connection with the shooting, the sheriff's office said in a news release issued Saturday night. He is suspected of gunning down Isauro Guerrero, 34, who authorities say was shot once in the back just before 10:00 p.m. Friday. The sheriff's office lists the same Marrero address, 4137 Ames Boulevard, for both men.
According to the sheriff's office, Ibarra's children described Guerrero as the new boyfriend of Ibarra's ex-wife. Initially, authorities said Guerroro suffered non-life threatening injuries, but confirmed Saturday morning that he had died.
Court records show Ibarra pleaded guilty in 2001 to cocaine possession in Jefferson Parish. He received a two-year suspended prison sentence, records show.
Ibarra was last seen leaving the Ames Boulevard address in his son's gold Chevrolet Avalanche truck bearing Mississippi license plate number FS9664, the sheriff's office said. Anyone with information on Dionicio Ibarra's whereabouts is asked to call JPSO's Investigation's Bureau at 504-364-5300

Thoughts? I am assuming Ibarra is still wanted as of this posting date (2/19/2018) since I've seen no articles since stating he's been captured. However, the media is always great at covering an initial crime and never when the person is actually arrested, so feel free to let us know if you have any updates.
