Kirkland David Ross is wanted for a warrant out of Bellingham, Washington. Authorities say he was allegedly driving a motorcycle with a passenger when he went off the road and hit a tree. Both he and the passenger were ejected from the three, Kirkland was not wearing a helmet at the time. It was determined that Kirkland was driving the motorcycle while he was intoxicated and without a valid motorcycle license. Both he and his passenger were treated for their injuries and Kirkland was charged with vehicular assault. However he disappeared during his trial and an arrest warrant was issued on April 23, 2010.
Based on investigating agencies, it is advised to contact the Washington State Patrol, Marysville Office at 360-654-1140 if you have any information on Kirkland David Ross's whereabouts.

-- Thoughts? I feel Kirkland should be a really easy fugitive to find, the only issue is that he likely fled Washington State so this manhunt requires a wider geographical audience. He's originally from New York so that's a good place to be on the lookout for him.

Not that I'm excusing it but Kirkland is really lucky his passenger didn't die and he's "only" wanted for vehicular assault. (He's of course lucky for his own sake he wasn't killed as well). I've seen people wanted for vehicular homicide even get only a few years, so he's really doing himself no favor by fleeing, basically ensuring himself a harsher punishment than if he had just turned himself in and if guilty accepted responsibility. Once again, not excusing his actions, but the punishment in theory and usually in practice is less harsh if no one died. However, he fled.
Also, as far as potential clues, it wouldn't surprise me if he goes by David instead of Kirkland as most of the time when I see guys with fancy first names like that they prefer to use their middle name which is more "normal". Or perhaps he can go by Kirk. Just a gut instinct he's using one of those two names as an alias.
