Although long-time posters here already knows this fact, some AMW viewers may not realize the significance of AMW direct capture #1122, Bruno Salgado. Salgado set a record for the oldest case ever solved by AMW after he was captured nearly 28 years after his crime. On July 10th, 1982 in Chicago, Salgado allegedly got into an argument with two other men at a bar. (It's been said that Salgado, a Mexican immigrant was arguing with the other men who were also immigrants over whose town was better). After the discussion got so heated Salgado's friend was hit in the head with a beer bottle, he went back to his car and a got a gun, killing one of the men he was arguing with, and wounding two others. AMW first profiled him in 2006, and incredibly, four years later, an AMW.COM visitor busted him hanging out with relatives in Ramsey, Minnesota. He was arrested on July 8th, 2010, just two-days before what would have been the 28th anniversary of that murder. Salgado has been sentenced to 30-years in prison. At age 58, it's possible he may spend the rest of his life in jail. lincolnpark.patch.com/groups/police-and-fire/p/americas-most-wanted-criminal-gets-30-years-for-1982-lincoln-park-murder

I also like the symmetry here. Nearly 30 years on the run= 30 years in prison.

He'll probably die in prison. The fact that AMW didn't acknowledge this capture on the show did annoy me.
