(Above photo credit: aberdeennews.com) From usatoday.com: A man charged with attempted murder didn't show up to court last week and the U.S. Marshal's Service wants the public's help finding him. Abdirhman Ahmad Noor, 24, of Aberdeen, missed his court hearing Tuesday, Feb. 28, and authorities are offering a $1,500 reward for information leading to his arrest. Noor has been out since October on a $50,000 bond. He is charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder and two counts of aggravated assault causing injury with a dangerous weapon. He is accused of shooting Dar’na Tansmore on July 8, 2016. He also fired, but missed, at a second man. As of Tuesday, the Marshals Service hadn't received any tips that would lead to his arrest. He is considered armed and dangerous. Noor is described as a black male, about 5'7", weighing 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes. If you have any information about Noor's whereabouts, call the U.S. Marshals Service at 1-877-926-8332 or Aberdeen Police Department at 605-626-7911.www.usatoday.com/story/news/crime/2017/03/07/man-wanted-attempted-murder-still-large/98867072/Thoughts? News reports I've found don't say much about what led to the alleged shooting except that it "followed an argument". I don't see any updates so I'm assuming Noor is still at large as of this posting date (7/23/17). If anyone has any updates, please feel free to let us know. Haven't found any recent updates online and considering this is a somewhat high-profile case I'm assuming that Noor is still at large as of this update. (6/23/2017)
