From the Charley Project:
Roojas resided in an apartment in the 5500 block of Ackerfield Avenue in Long Beach, California in 2000. She was in the midst of divorcing her husband, who lived in the same apartment complex. Rojas dropped their young daughter off at his residence on October 19, 2000 for a court-ordered visitation. She returned to her own apartment with her boyfriend afterwards. Rojas's boyfriend departed between 12:15 and 12:30 a.m. on October 20. He told authorities that Rojas was asleep on her sofa at the time he left her home. She has never been heard from again.
Rojas was employed at a shelter for abused women in 2000. She failed to report to work on the morning of October 20. Her boyfriend attempted to call her at approximately 9:00 a.m., but she wasn't at home. Her black 1992 Nissan extra cab pickup truck with the Texas license plate number BY3242 was also missing from the complex's parking lot. Rojas's family members suspect that foul play was involved in her disappearance. They said it is uncharacteristic of her to leave her child without warning. Her divorce attorney said she was hoping to gain custody of her daughter.
Rojas's vehicle has never been located. There have not been any arrests in connection with her case; it remains unsolved.
Thoughts? I am placing Diana's case in the missing on tv section since the syndicated crime show "Crime Watch Daily" profiled her disappearance on the January 25th, 2017 episode of the show. The show is a little more critical than the Charley Project was about Diana's boyfriend Americo Rojas who was allegedly abusive according to statements Diana made in a restraining order. Americo's job was operating big-diggers and bulldozers, meaning he had the means to bury her well and allegedly bragged to Army buddies that no one would ever find her. It is theorized Diana's body could be somewhere in the Mojave Desert.
In fairness to Americo, he has always maintained he has nothing to do with Diana's disappearance and has never been officially charged with any wrongdoing in relation to her disappearance.
