Authorities in Lafayette, Louisiana say that in January 2015, Federico Morales was driving his vehicle when he crashed into Brian Nolan's vehicle. Brian died in the impact. Not only was Federico driving without a driver's license since he was an illegal immigrant, but he had three children in his car who were thankfully uninjured. Federico was indicted in April 2015 but bail bondsmen had to go looking for him and eventually located him in Lafayette. However Federico was able to post bond and flee.
Last month, Brian's mother and state legislators created a new law in Louisiana. This law would require judges to restrict allowing illegal immigrants accused of crimes resulting in a person's death to post bond.
Based on wanted location, our advice for anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Federico Morales would to be contact the Lafayette Police Department at 337-291-8600.

Thoughts? The law created in Brian Nolan's memory should not be interpreted as stereotyping illegal immigrants due to the current US political climate, as the majority of them are law-abiding people. This was created to prevent them for getting the opportunity to flee to Latin America and other parts of the world, where they may never be captured. Hopefully the odds are better at finding Federico Morales, who is still a threat to fellow drivers in whichever country he's current residing in.
