On January 26, 2012, a federal arrest warrant was issued for Kurdy by the United States District Court, Southern District of California, after he was charged with health care fraud; aggravated identity theft; receipt of kickbacks for patient referral; income tax evasion; aiding and abetting; and criminal forfeiture. My thoughts on where Kurdy may be are a bit complicated since by the time it hit 2012, the Syrian civil war was in its early stages.
1. Fled to Syria, then Lebanon eventually settling there.
2. Went directly to Lebanon without going to Syria and has been living there the entire time.
3. Stayed in Syria and was eventually killed in the conflict.
4. He never left the United States and is keeping a low profile working odd jobs.
