Fugitive Profile as of April 29th, 2016: (based on FBI.Gov wanted poster) Alias: Gustavio Pena Tacho Date(s) of Birth Used: February 7, 1989 Place of Birth: Ixmiquilpan, Hidalgo, Mexico Height: 5'10" Weight: 203 pounds Hair: Black Eyes: Brown Sex: Male Race: White (Hispanic) Nationality: Mexican Remarks: Pena-Muthe is believed to be residing in Hidalgo, Mexico. TIPS: If you have any information concerning this person, please contact your local FBI office or the nearest American Embassy or Consulate. From the FBI's website: Law enforcement authorities are seeking information regarding Eustacio Pena-Muthe, who is wanted for murder in Florida. On June 9, 2010, Pena-Muthe allegedly shot and killed a 16-year-old friend, Jason Henderson, while he was sleeping in his apartment in Clearwater, Florida. The shooting reportedly followed a dispute over weapons that the victim owned and threats made between the two of them. On September 15, 2010, a bench warrant was issued by the Circuit Court of Pinellas County, Florida, after Pena-Muthe was charged with murder in the first degree - capital felony. www.fbi.gov/wanted/seeking-info/eustacio-pena-muthe/viewThoughts? What I find curious is how Pena-Muthe "is believed to be residing in Hidalgo, Mexico." Remember, FBI Top 10 fugitive Brenda Delgado was "believed to be hiding in Mexico" when in reality they pretty much knew exactly where she was the whole time. Here even the State in Mexico is known and they still can't find the guy. I personally wonder if really the reason this guy is on the FBI's website, is like Delgado, it's known where he is and this is to put pressure on Mexico to finally extradite the guy. In any case, if you think you know where Pena-Muthe is, be it Hidalgo or anywhere else in Mexico, America, or the world, then please don't approach him yourself but call the FBI immediately. Not only do we know he's in Hidalgo State in Mexico but we know he was born in the community called Ixmiquilpan. I checked and it's a community of approximately 74,000 people so I presume there aren't very many people named Eustacio Pena-Muthe in the smaller city. This may be another case of requiring to know the exact address of where he's hiding out again.

P.S. Just in case the FBI doesn't handle this case anymore, the Florida wanted search lists the tip agency number for anyone with information on the whereabouts of Pena Muthe as (727) 582-6200 which is the number for the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

Pena-Muthe still shows as having a warrant in Florida's public access wanted persons search as of 10/24/2019 (same link as in two replies back), just wanted to make a technical note you can only enter "Muthe" as the last name to find it.

A couple of points I would like to make regarding this case. First is that Eustacio still has a listed homicide warrant as of today, November 1, 2020 in the Florida Statewide Warrants database. The second is that when Eustacio was on the FBI's website, his case was in the Seeking Information section and not the fugitives section. I feel that the FBI was providing some type of assistance to local authorities, similar to now where they have the Law Enforcement Assistance page. That leads to my third point, and that is the fact that there is no UFAP case against Eustacio in PACER. Finally, the victim, Jason Henderson, was a runaway from New Jersey. Jason was placed in a New Jersey state facility after being arrested on robbery and drug charges. Sadly, this means that Jason did not have the best circumstances growing up in life. Despite this, he is still a victim of an unresolved homicide, and his family needs justice by seeing Eustacio tried in a court of law. www.tampabay.com/archive/2010/12/02/man-suspected-in-shooting-may-be-in-mexico/
