Aguilar-Rivera fled as he was being investigated in 1988 over allegations that he molested children at two Los Angeles parishes. He was charged that year with 19 counts of molesting 10 children. After fleeing the U.S., Aguilar-Rivera acted as a priest in Mexico City and at another diocese until 1994, when he was accused of molesting a boy, according to attorneys for the victims. The church defrocked him in 2009, and he reportedly remains at large.
News reports from 1988 indicate that Nicolas Aguilar-Rivera was suspected of molesting as many as 26 altar boys.

Thoughts? An update 2015 mentions a settlement between two of Nicolas's victims who were abused in 1987 and the Archdiocese of Los Angeles. In the same article, it's quoted that authorities are unsure if Nicolas is still alive currently. He would be approximately 74-years old today according to my research so there's a good chance that he's still out there, somewhere in Mexico and still needs to be criminally prosecuted.
