Alfredo Hernandez Gutierrez was aired on the February 26th, 2011 episode of America's Most Wanted's "50 States, 50 Fugitives" special as the fugitive wanted out of Nevada. Below is the archive description of his alleged crime:
Vegas Cops: Trivial Fight Ends In Brutal Murder
On July 29, 2009, Hector Escobar and Alfredo Gutierrez -- both day laborers working construction on the sprawling CityCenter complex on the Las Vegas Strip -- got into a fight. Though detectives aren't quite sure what their spat was over, they say that whatever it was led Gutierrez to commit the most heinous crime one can commit: murder.
The following day, Hector didn't show up for work, and his friends filed a missing persons report.
It wasn't like Hector to abandon a day's wages, and cops suspected the worst.
Slaying Victim Disposed Of Under Pile Of Trash
On Aug. 2, 2009, the worst was realized when Hector's bloody, murdered body was found in the desert on the far southwest side of Las Vegas. His remains were discovered underneath a pile of trash, covered by dilapidated couches, mattresses and other vile refuse.
Investigators immediately began searching for Hector's co-worker, Gutierrez, who hadn't been seen since July 30, the day after Hector's disappearance. When cops arrived at his house, they found blood on the sidewalk nearby.
Weeks after the murder, cops learned that Gutierrez called his sister and asked for a key to her place. When they arrived to her house Aug. 13, they found Hector's blood-soaked van parked in her garage.
Gutierrez was nowhere to be found, and cops need your help to track him down.
Thoughts? Gees, does this guy have enough aliases? I think only Fidel Urbina may rival him in this aspect. Even though Gutierrez is from Mexico, the good news is he has been a transient for much of his life in the U.S. so there is still a good chance of catching him here. If he is in Mexico anyway, let's hope we can get him there as well.
