From ketv.com:
Omaha police are searching for a man they said ran from a car crash that killed his wife.
The crash happened on April 26, near Cornish Boulevard, on the west side of Carter Lake, just south of Ames Avenue.
Omaha police said finding Pierre Brayman is their top priority.
Tiffany Brayman, 37, was thrown from the car and killed in the crash — her family said they can't feel safe until he's behind bars.
It happened around 8 p.m. Her mother got the knock at the door after midnight.
“They said, we have to tell you, your daughter Tiffany was in a car accident and she died,” said Sue Costello.
Inside Costello's living room are photo arrangements from Tiffany's funeral.
One person who wasn't there: her husband, Pierre Brayman.
Police said he was driving the car at a high speed before it crashed, now he's wanted for leaving the scene of a deadly accident and motor vehicle homicide.
“I have an active warrant out for his arrest. I have turned this over to our fugitive unit. This is actually their top priority is to find him,” said Lt. Allen Straub, with the Omaha Police Department.
Tiffany's family said they're afraid of Pierre Brayman and want him captured soon.
“We have no idea what he's capable of or what he's considering doing or what his next move is at this point,” said Crystal Baker, Tiffany Brayman’s sister. “It's just scary having him just out there running around.”
Police said Pierre Brayman is white, 5 feet, 11 inches, 205 pounds, and has a tattoo of his last name, Brayman, on his arm.
Tiffany's family said they want justice for themselves, and for Tiffany's four children.
"He shouldn't be able to go visit his children because she's never going to see her again,” Costello said.
The family said Tiffany's funeral was overflowing with people.
“She was just, like, just this bubbly ray of sunshine, and she just — she was incredible. She was just absolutely amazing,” Baker said.
They hope all those who loved her will help keep an eye out for Pierre Brayman.
Police have this message for him:
"Pierre, I know who you are. Our fugitive unit is actively looking for you. You are their top priority right now. I suggest that you turn yourself in because I will find you,” Straub said.
If you see Pierre Brayman or know where he might be, call 911, Crime Stoppers at 402-444-STOP (7867), or the fugitive unit directly at 402-677-1480.

Thoughts? As of today's posting date (May 6th, 2023), there is still a posting on the Omaha Police Department's Facebook page asking for information on Brayman's whereabouts that is yet to be edited or updated with any news of a capture.
Also even though the official charge seems to be leaving the scene of a personal injury accident resulting in death, Tiffany's family in Facebook comments believe he crashed the truck intentionally. Walking away from negligence towards your own wife doesn't make the case any less tragic or callous, but the fact that Tiffany's family thinks it is something even more sinister makes this case in my opinion about five times as worse. If Pierre wasn't a coward, he'd turn himself in and face responsibility for his actions, but I don't see that happening anytime soon so hopefully the publicity at least in the Omaha area applies the pressure to capture or force him to surrender under the pressure.
