(Above photo credit: abc6onyourside.com) From ABC 6 Columbus Ohio (abc6onyourside.com) COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Columbus police have issued a warrant for a man wanted for murder after a man's body was found in a pond Wednesday in west Columbus. Police said Robert Marsh III, 51, was found in a pond at Wilson Road Park along the Camp Chase Rail Trail Wednesday morning. Dispatchers confirmed someone spotted a body in the pond and flagged down a deputy to report it. Police said Marsh was involved in an altercation with John Ferry, 46, who has alleged to have caused injuries to Marsh that resulted in his death. Ferry has been charged with murder and police have issued a warrant for his arrest. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call Columbus police or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-TIPS. Police said people should not approach him and should immediately call the police. abc6onyourside.com/news/local/cpd-dive-team-called-to-scene-at-wilson-road-park-camp-chase-rail-trailThoughts? As far as I can tell, Ferry is still at large as of today's posting date (November 27th, 2022), since the latest events I found in Franklin County Ohio's online criminal court records was them "closing" the case to put it in warrant status back on the 23rd, with no activity since. www.fcmcclerk.com/case/view#parties Admin Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form
