From localmemphis.com:
HORN LAKE, Miss — Law enforcement from across Desoto County, Mississippi, are searching for a murder suspect out of Quitman County.
The Public Information Officer with the Desoto County Sheriff’s Department said Horn Lake Police received a tip Thursday morning that 21-year-old Quenten Cortez Taylor was in the city. Officers arrived at the home in the area of Laurelwood and Shadow Oaks in Horn Lake, but said Taylor ran away.
The Quitman County Sheriff's office said Taylor is wanted for a double murder on October 24, 2021 at the Marie Lyles Meadows Apartments on Jones Street in Crenshaw. Investigators said five people were shot, and two died. The other three injured have been released from Regional One Hospital in Memphis.
Taylor is wanted on two counts of aggravated felony murder and three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Investigators said he's also a person of interest in shootings in Tate and Panola Counties dating back to 2019.
Investigators said Taylor is from Desoto County.
Taylor is described as 5’9” to 5’11” tall and bout 130 to 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, white-washed jeans, and an orange t-shirt.
If you see Taylor or know any information about his whereabouts, call police immediately.

Thoughts? As far as I can tell, Taylor is still at the large as of this posting date (December 5th, 2021) since the above article is from only a few days ago with no updates about a capture that I could find online since. There was also an another article where friends and family of Taylor defended him and Taylor himself may have proclaimed his innocence on social media himself. It seems the indication is they're claiming he may have been at the scene or may have known who committed the mass shooting, but Taylor himself didn't shoot anyone.
I do want to stress that Taylor, like all fugitives on our site is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. And if he's ever caught and put on trial, a jury should only vote to convict if they find Taylor guilty beyond a reasonable doubt. My advice to Taylor would be to turn himself in and get a good defense attorney to tell his side of the story. Fair or unfair, going on the run will nine times out of ten if not ten times out of ten make you look guilty to the general public even if you are technically innocent until convicted.
