From wkrn.com:
LOBELVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – Authorities have identified Hayden Chappell of Perry County as the suspect accused of dragging Investigator Johnathan Kelly with his vehicle Friday night.
Law enforcement from multiple counties have come together in pursuit of Chappell.
This all unfolded in Lobelville earlier Friday evening.
Officials say Investigator Jonathan Kelly was attempting to make an arrest when the driver of the vehicle, with the door open, put the car in reverse and dragged Kelly several feet.
Authorities were then led on a chase to I-40, where the suspect soon got off at Exit 148 and stopped about a mile east of the interstate.
Deputies from Perry, Humphreys and Hickman County were on scene with the Turney Center K-9 Unit assisting in the apprehension of the suspect.
The suspect is wanted in Humphreys County and Missouri. A female passenger has been taken into custody.
Officials say Kelly was taken to the Centerville ER, but he is expected to be okay.
Anyone with information should call authorities at 931-589-3911. If anyone sees Chappell, call 911.

Thoughts? We know Chappell was still at large at least as of last night (10/31/2021), since authorities thought they had Chappell barricaded inside a home but were unable to locate him but did find two other wanted persons.
Also I'm seeing a lot of sympathetic comments on Facebook towards Chappell. He's not a bad guy, everyone is someone's son or daughter etc... That may be true that he was previously a good guy but from what I've read he's only being charged with aggravated assault and as far as I'm concerned he's lucky he's not being charged with attempted murder of an officer. I get it. From what I understand Humpreys County is one of the many U.S. small town counties significantly affected by the Oxycontin epidemic. However, the correct way to gain sympathy is to turn yourself in and accept responsibility for your actions and right now Chappell is not doing that. Let's hope the manhunt ends soon before anyone including Chappell gets seriously hurt.
