CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — Corpus Christi police are looking to the public for help locating a man wanted for the recent murder of a 48-year-old man outside a business in the city's southside.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Market Shopping Center in the 5800 block of Everhart Road. Police said they arrived at the scene and found the 48-year-old victim deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was identified by the Medical Examiner's Office as Carlos Vasquez.
On Thursday, police reported that investigators were able to secure a warrant for the arrest of 41-year-old Ruben Trevino in relation to the shooting.
Trevino is approximately 5'8" and weighs about 200 pounds. He has black hair, brown eyes, a beard, and a mustache.
