As regular viewers of the new AMW know, when the Capture Counter flashes on screen, there are several photos shown in the background. Well, I got curious as to who was in those photos, so I took a screenshot and went through every single one of them. Here's the picture I took with color-coded circles around them.
And here's who these people are:
Black circle: David James Roberts, AMW Capture #1.
Gray circle: I believe this is Wardell David Ford, AMW Capture #118.
Red circle: Brian Maurice Fuller, AMW Capture #1,189. Odd that they chose to include him since he was caught AFTER AMW hit 1,186 captures. So either AMW chose to pick 18 random captures to ignore, or the show is downplaying the amount of captures. Either way, this is really weird.
Green circle: Lee Nell Carter, AMW Capture #84.
Yellow circle: Elby Hars...who is still a fugitive! This one is just 100% baffling. He's literally on the FBI's website! This makes absolutely no sense. Plus he was profiled on The Hunt, which aired AFTER AMW was canceled.
Bluish purple circle: Roger Lee Jones...who was caught in 1989 and who AMW randomly took credit for in 2008, but never assigned a capture number to. What's bizarre is that Terry Lee Johnson, who was also an FBI Top Ten fugitive and direct capture, is not credited to AMW by the FBI, and was never uploaded when amw.com added all of its FBI Top Ten captures.
Purple circle: Rickey Allen Bright, AMW Capture #395.
Pink circle: Jack Darrell Farmer, AMW Capture #12.
I can't identify the people in the rest of the photos, but I can tell you some of those photos are duplicated.
Many of these captures are all FBI Ten Most Wanted fugitives that AMW caught. Otherwise we have Roger Jones (AMW's random capture they decided to take credit for almost 20 years after he was caught), Brian Maurice Fuller (who was caught AFTER AMW's 1,186th capture, who was Luis Gonzalez, if anybody was curious) and, most bizarrely, current fugitive Elby Hars. I don't know who was put in charge of creating that, but clearly they messed up. Some of these errors are just flat-out unforgivable, like saying Hars was a direct capture when he's still a fugitive.
