10 years after he was profiled on AMW, Gary Lasher has accepted a plea deal in connection with child sexual abuse charges he faced in Arizona. Lasher, John Walsh's #8 Most Wanted Fugitive of 2004, was caught indirectly in Mexico in 2005. Apparently Lasher was first brought to California where he was facing charges of kidnapping his mother-in-law. He pleaded guilty and was sentenced to nine years in prison in 2007. Upon his release, he was brought back to Arizona to face his other charges. He faces 17 years in prison. I had no idea that this case was still playing out, but I'm glad Lasher will finally go to prison for child exploitation. I'm glad that Arizona authorities never dropped the charges against him too. www.dcourier.com/main.asp?SectionID=1&SubSectionID=1&ArticleID=135463
