From CBS Austin (cbsaustin.com):
Authorities are searching for a felon who dragged a man from his car driving through Downtown Austi
42-year-old Bradford Childers is wanted for aggravated robbery for an incident on July 6. Austin police say an acquaintance asked Childers for a ride. Childers then asked that man for money and took his cell phone.
"That's when Childers put the vehicle in drive, not for a short moment but for quite some time where he's going 30 miles per hour, dragging this individual," said Deputy U.S. Marshal Brandon Filla.
He eventually slammed the car into a curb, seriously injuring the victim, who had to be hospitalized.
Bradford Childers has a long criminal history, consisting of 20 arrests and 15 convictions.
"He has assault, DWI, driving without a license, driving while license suspended, possession of narcotics for manufacture or delivery, as well as evading law enforcement," Filla said.
Police later learned Childers is currently on parole for another felony conviction.
Bradford Childers is 6'1" and weighs 250 pounds.
If you have any information on his whereabouts, call the U.S. Marshals Service at 1-800-336-0102 or visit usmarshals.gov/tips.

Thoughts? First of all, I am taking a bit of a risk here in that I cannot 100 percent confirm Childers is still at large as or this posting date (4/23/2020). I'm simply reasonably assuming he still is since the local Austin stations usually do a good job of updating when a Marshals fugitive they profile is captured and I haven't found any new updates since that August 2019. Of course, if anyone ever has any updates/proof-of-updates, they are always more than welcome to let us know.
