Thoughts? As of this posting date a warrant (March 16th, 2020) flag is still next to Rios' name in a search of Smith County Texas's online criminal court records: judicial.smith-county.com/PublicAccess/CaseDetail.aspx?CaseID=1696289
I wanted to profile this case for a while but was confused since they had arraignments and trials scheduled previously but now it shows those have been cancelled with a connotation of "warrant outstanding."
Also I found out about the manhunt for Rios because he is on the Lydia Lerma Foundation website as one of the fugitives they are tracking. For those who don't know about Lydia Lerma, her son was molested by a Fort Collins fugitive named Andrew Vanderwaal (who was on our site) and helped in tracking him down to Mexico and having him arrested. Vanderwaal was later sentenced to 24 years to life. Lerma's site describes itself as a foundation to support victims of sexual abuse.
Lydia Lerma's website gives additional information on potential clues in locating Rios including that he "wears aviator style sunglasses and smokes Marlboro Menthol cigarettes."
