From KCBS radio:
The family of an Oakland man who disappeared in May is now offering $10,000 for information that helps find him.
Jonathan Bandabaila was 19 when he was last seen on May 3 as he headed out for a soccer tournament in Los Angeles, his family has said.
He was reported missing the next day. His abandoned car was located on the San Mateo Bridge, but Bandabaila was gone.
"It's like a nightmare you wouldn't believe," said his mother Isata Bandabaila. "Knowing that one of your children is out there. You don't know if they're okay, what happened to them. It's hard."
The family, who searched again for Bandabaila over the weekend, says they are desperate for help. They had begun offering a reward of $2,500 in September.
The question is what happened? This is still a missing perosn's case. There is nothing that has led us in one direction or another," said Officer Johnna Watson, a spokeswoman for the Oakland Police Department. "We want to find answers for the family."

Thoughts? I am placing Jonathan's case in the missing on tv section since he is now on In Pursuit with John Walsh's website tip form, meaning he will be one of the missing child mentions for one of the remaining episodes of Season 2. Some additional articles have Jonathan's family criticizing the Oakland Police Department, saying they showed a photo of a missing dog within two days but it took four months to put the word out about Jonathan. I don't know enough about Jonathan's case to judge, but despite our nation continually more diverse, there is still a lack of media attention when it comes to minority missing cases compared to other cases. This is why John Walsh's shows are so important in igniting publicity.
