With the four-year anniversary of Dulce's disappearance, apparently there has been some online criticism of Dulce's mother, Noema, for seemingly lacking emotion. Even her family friend quit being a spokesperson for her because of the same criticisms. According to the friend, Jackie Rodriguez "why am I going on tv when you're not even trying to look for your child." Rodriguez said that while shyness and a language barrier could have prevented Noema from more appearances, the mother also rejected the suggestion of using social media Read More: Missing Dulce Maria Alavez turns 7: Father denies involvement | nj1015.com/missing-dulce-maria-alavez-turns-7-friend-faults-moms-lack-of-emotion/?utm_source=tsmclip&utm_medium=referral. I do have to say in Noema's defense, there was an eyewitness account and everyone grieves and mourns differently. Not everyone who's son or daughter goes missing is an outgoing person and unfortunately sometimes their cases won't get as highly publicized for that reason. Rodriguez even offers up a defense in that Noema may be acting this way because she fees guilty she didn't go with her children to the playground the day Dulce disappeared. It is tough. I can understand the criticism of Noema seeming to lack emotion or not doing enough. But I also understand there is not a universal reaction to crises in human beings. I do hope that Dulce can be found and whatever happened can be figured out.

Figured I'd post here also that I'm reading internet speculation that a fugitive we just posted, Emeterio Alavez-Cruz, who is wanted out of New Jersey for the sexual assault of a 12-year-old girl, could be connected to Dulce's case. I want to stress that at the moment the only people saying that are on Facebook and there has been nothing officially stated by police or in articles. Although he has the same last name and is also from New Jersey, for all we know it could be coincidental for now. That's not to say to automatically dismiss speculation in Dulce's case as I certainly understand why people are making the connection, but rather just feel it is important to not get too zeroed in on one possibility since it could lose focus on the overall case where other good leads or suspects get overlooked. amwfans.com/thread/12179/emeterio-alavez-cruz-jersey-2021
