Unfortunately I don't know regarding the babysitter.

There are a lot of inconsistencies and holes in this case. For example why are Sadie and Wendy's recounts of when they last saw Anthonette so different? Why was police work in this initially so poor and why were people in Anthonette's family and community not willing to open up more about the case?

You know I watched the Unsolved Mysteries episode on Cayedito’s vanishing and Penny, Anthonette’s mother didn’t look that old in her interview with them she was 39 which was circa 1992. Then again it would be 7 short years, Penny living a very harsh lifestyle and passed away in 1999 at the age of 46.
Anyways the sole theory I have is that her remains were dumped somewhere in the desert or she was buried out in a remote part of the desert that is clear no mans land and I’ll go as far as to speculate that whoever took Anthonette buried her in neighboring Arizona as McKinley County, New Mexico (where Gallup is located) borders Arizona and to be exact, Apache County, AZ.
Granted they could’ve buried her in NM, but I feel if these individuals wanted to throw off authorities as to who they were and to cover their tracks.
Thanks to everyone I’ve kinda changed my theory if she were alive and I now think Anthonette Cayedito was alive up until 1992 or 1993 maybe as late as 1996, either it was someone else’s doing or she couldn’t bare the pain of being in captivity and took her own life, or the people who took her trafficked her and Anthonette went down a very dark path (drugs alcohol, murdered,)

I however am open to the possibility that if she did survive after being abducted, she would likely have went a dark path.

I’m beginning to think Anthonette was alive up until 1992/1993 and after she was aired on Unsolved Mysteries, not wanting to draw anymore heat in having her and adding attention to themselves, the people who kidnapped her, murdered her. As to where I speculate could’ve been murdered? Well I don’t want to focus on one area or another, but I figure the entire southwestern United States is sadly fair game as to where her remains could be.
They also should look at Lake Tahoe, California given its close proximity to Carson City, Nevada.

While I do agree it's most likely the people who kidnapped Anthonette killed her, I say she was killed much sooner based on the stats of abductions and logical conclusions based on info of the family. Likely an enemy of her father, a close friend of the family with a dark side or she just crossed paths with serial abductors/killers that scoped the area. All would have motivation to kill her as soon as possible. If she were to survive passed abduction, it's likely because of ransom or trafficking. But the family never indicated ransom, trafficking by kidnapping is rare and being held captive al la Jaycee Dugard is extremely rare. I'm torn on rather she was killed because of attention brought by UM. To be honest I find the 1987 call, the 1991 sighting and Wendy's accounts to be possible red herrings.

I get that indication because of the 1991 sighting in Carson City, Nevada, and given how much time it was from that sighting to Cayedito’s airing on Unsolved mysteries in 1992 leads me to draw that conclusion at 92/93 is when she was killed at least from my thinking. Although you do make a good point about her being alive up to 1987 around the time of the phone call, given that the person who could have been Cayedito said she was in Albuquerque, New Mexico, which is not far from Gallup, and it was only a year after she vanished.... and if she would’ve been kidnapped by someone and held against her will, she would’ve re-emerged by now.

Understandable but I believe the 1991 sighting to be the biggest red herring of all of them. It has never been the MO of abductors to have the person you kidnapped tag along with them in public regardless of how or why. Only Nicholas Markowitz comes to mind and he was still murdered. I'm of the opinion that the girl believed to be Anthonette in the 1991 sighting was either a prankster or a distressed/troubled girl if not a completely different adducted girl altogether and the waitress just thought that Anthonette fit the best description of said girl.

Just to let everyone know there is a new documentary out about Anthonette they talk to her sister and not to be the spoiler but they basically confirmed Penny sold her daughter for drugs and that Anthonette was likely sold into human trafficking and that the phone call more then likely was her trying to escape her captors. They also said there were several sightings of her in Texas and beyond the restaurant sighting years later in Carson City Nevada Part 1. m.youtube.com/watch?v=sICCy_hOmKUPart 2. m.youtube.com/watch?v=gM6QLUNLmKw

Penny’s alleged actions are disgusting for a mother who’s supposed to take care of her, not sell her for temporary pleasure.
