On June 1, 2018 authorities recovered a deceased infant floating off the coast of Boynton Beach Inlet in Palm Beach County, Florida. The infant may have floated up from as far south as Broward County. The infant was determined to be female and her race is possibly biracial, black or Hispanic. It’s likely she had been in the water for less than 24 hours. No clothing or items were recovered with her. The baby was likely born in a hospital within 4 to 7 days of being discovered. The image shown is a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office artist’s rendering of what the infant may have looked like in life.
