A woman with a warrant for human trafficking is named Tulsa's Most Wanted. Curtisha Crook, 23, has a felony warrant out of Tulsa County. Upon arrest she will be jailed on $150,00 bond. According to court documents, police came in contact with a 16-year-old girl who identified Crook as a woman who arranged "dates" for her on which she "would have sex with the client in exchange for money and/or drugs." Court documents allege Crook, known to the teen as "CeeCee", would post ads on Backpage.com in the escort section, then rent a room at Deluxe Inn near 27th and Memorial for the girl to meet with clients. Crook and another woman, identified as "Big Moma" in the affidavit, would wait in a truck belonging to a man known as "Nephew" until the teen was finished with the client. Police say the girl completed approximately six "dates" before coming forward, later picking Crook out of a photo lineup. Court records show Crook has two co-defendents in the case -- Sally Denton and Randy Pierce. Police describe Crook as a black female, 5 feet 3 and 134 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on Crook's whereabouts is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (918) 596-COPS, text TIP918 to CRIMES or email crimestoppers@cityoftulsa.org. Tipsters may qualify for a cash reward from the Crime Prevention Network if information leads to Crook's arrest. www.kjrh.com/news/local-news/most-wanted/tulsas-most-wanted-curtisha-crook-wanted-on-felony-warrant-for-human-trafficking

Some additional comments. Another article mentions that Randy Pierce is also a wanted fugitive in this case but I can't find a photo of him anywhere (if anyone can, that would be appreciated). The same article mentions that the warrant for Curtisha Crook's arrest was issued on March 27. I know Scumhunter normally does breaking news cases but I wanted to bring this case to the forum since it is a child sex trafficking case. www.krmg.com/news/news/local/human-trafficking-suspect-named-most-wanted-tulsa/nfTyJ/

You have to love the irony of a woman with the last name of Crook being wanted by the police. If only she had changed her name to "Curtisha Good Samaritan" earlier on in life, none of this would have happened. In all seriousness, I hope her victim can receive justice. I was also aware of this case and had her in my pool of potential candidates to profile next month, but nothing wrong with posting her earlier. I too cannot find any pictures of Pierce but if I do, I will let you know.

I was originally planning on today featuring for my non-amw recent case this month, two fugitives wanted in connection with a 2006 triple homicide, then I saw this case in google news and wanted to feature it due to the type of case it was. If Curtisha Crook gets captured quickly (hopefully she does), then I'll probably post the case I was originally going to do. Otherwise I'll post it next month.

Have they caught any of Curtisha "CC" Crook's underlings yet, Denton, Pierce, The Big Momma, or The Nephew?
On Scumhunter's quip, I would've said something similar, except change the last name to "Samaritus".
I'll probably name her to the middle of my most wanted of 2014. I can say I wouldn't have put her above Jeanifer Lee Segrest though.
EDIT: Also, AMW caught another young criminal organization member back around the turn of 1997 named Alan Ray "Big Red" Crook (Capture #444).

I completely forgot that AMW had previously captured a Crook but it really doesn't surprise me.

mugshots-directory.com/booking/6683420/CURTISHA-CROOKDoing some research and discovered Curtisha Crook was arrested in Houston,Texas a few days ago. The mug shot website doesn't have her photo but it does have her birth date and a charge of "failure to identify (fugitive)." My guess is she gave police an alias and they found out she was really a wanted Crook. Get it?! Thanks, I'll be here all week!

Awesome! Another wanted sex trafficker is now in custody. Hopefully she will stay in jail with all her fellow crook's for as long as possible.
