From the Fulton Sun:
Two Indiana residents have been charged in the Jan. 6 murder on Old Highway 40 in Callaway County. They remain at large.
Ruben Corales Cabrera, 33, and Emily Ricketts, 22, both of Indianapolis, Indiana, are considered armed and dangerous, according to a Friday evening news release from the Callaway County Sheriff's Office.
Callaway County Prosecuting Attorney Christopher Wilson charged Cabrera and Ricketts with murder in the first degree following an investigation into the death of Lauro Garza-Perez. He was found shot in the 1500 block of Old Highway 40 near the Boone County line.
Cabrera is also charged with armed criminal action.
Cabrera and Ricketts have ties to the Columbia area, according to the news release.
No further details on the suspects were released.
The Callaway County Sheriff's Offices continues the investigation with assistance from the Boone County Sheriff's Office, Columbia Police Department, Indianapolis Police Department and the United States Department of Homeland Security-Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Cabrera and Ricketts should contact law enforcement immediately and not approach either suspect. Information can be provided anonymously by calling Callaway County Crimestoppers at 573-592-2474.

Thoughts? As of this posting date (2/11/2019), there have been no new court entries in Missouri's electronic records since warrants were filed a month ago: www.courts.mo.gov/casenet/cases/searchDockets.do
Also, according to a local news segment, Emily's mother says she fears for her daughter's life. She says Cabrera was physically abusive to Ricketts. She also claims Cabrera confessed to her and said he shot and killed Lauro-Garcia because he had threatened his family back in Mexico. Emily's mother says her daughter may have been an unwitting participant, purchasing bullets not knowing what they'd be ultimately used for: www.abc17news.com/news/crime/mother-of-murder-suspect-fears-for-daughters-life/978645442
Anyway the purpose of this post is not to judge Emily, who is technically a fugitive but also innocent until proven guilty (as is Cabrera legally speaking as well), but rather to hope for a safe and peaceful conclusion. I've seen a few similar cases where charges were reduced and/or dropped entirely against the female defendant as long as she agreed to cooperate in the case against the husband or boyfriend believed to be the primary offender. So that is probably imo her best chance if located and she would need to hire a good lawyer who could negotiate or attempt to negotiate that. Of course, she (and Cabrera) need to be located first.
Hopefully this case can come to a close with no more losses of life.
UPDATE: Emily Ricketts was arrested in Mexico on November 8th, 2022. Ruben Corales Cabrera still at large as of November 8th, 2022.
