Something else that might work is by using video editing software to flip the video or shrink it down. There's one AMW clip on YouTube where the clip is shrunk down to fit inside an animated TV. I don't personally know how to do that, so I'm not much help there, but it might work.

That unfortunately doesn't work, I have tried before and tried lowering the pitch of the voice, etc. Their system is too smart. I would be very interested in seeing *early* AMW cases posted to youtube, i.e. 1988-1996, particularly cases still unsolved.

Hey umamwfan, welcome to the forum! I believe I remember you from the old amw.com forums I agree with you I would love to see really old AMW airings. We know the "big" names but there could always be more fugitives we're not aware of still not caught that were aired in those years.

Welcome umamwfan! I also would like to find out more about unsolved cases from the early seasons of AMW. Sadly there are probably a lot of unsolved cases we aren't aware of that were not aired after November 1998 (that's as far as the old amw site episode listings go back). I imagine it's because the investigators didn't have any new leads to work with and other cases got priority. EDIT: Slightly off topic, but the next case I'm doing is of a fugitive that was first aired back in 1988 and wasn't aired in the more recent seasons. So hopefully you like my next case thread!

I just created a Vimeo account and uploaded an AMW clip to see if they allow it, it's currently processing, although the site allows limited space and such, it will still be a nice place to upload segments.

I do know there are some older episodes I've seen on youtube, not flagged by Fox, so those might be safe to upload if someone has VHS copies and wants to convert them to computer. But probably post 2000 they will be flagged

When I was a little boy watching AMW in 1996, I wish I had taped and saved all episodes for private use. It never occurred to me the show could actually get cancelled again one day!

That's pretty interesting Scum, and if anyone has any recorded Amw episodes or clips that are past year 2000, please share them with me in anyway possible!

Once in while I can catch shows on youtube. Still would love to see the update on when they caught Adam Zaks. He was a fugitive from my area and featured on my cold case website. www.savagewatch.com

I look forward to reading through that site! It may give us ideas for cases to profile here!
