Michael Patrick Burke, a 25-year-old Los Angeles resident, was found dead along Carlsbad Boulevard north of Poinsettia Lane early in the morning on Monday, Oct. 18, 2004. It was determined that Burke died from blunt force trauma to the head and chest. Burke was last seen between 2:30 and 3 a.m. leaving the Hilton Garden Inn located at 6450 Carlsbad Blvd. after attending a party. Burke was a cameraman working in the San Diego area on a reality television series at the time of his death.
Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for any information that leads to the arrest of Burke's killer.
