From the Minneapolis Police Department website- Cold Case Files section:
Lois Swenson – Murdered June 2012
If someone in the neighborhood ever needed anything, Lois was always there to help. She was beloved by her family and her community, and every year on the anniversary of her murder, the community gathers to honor her and remember her legacy. And every year, those gathered ask the same question: “How could this have happened to Lois?” Lois Swenson had been missing for 7 days in the summer of 2012 when family members contacted the Minneapolis Police Department. She had been beaten to death in her own home, on the 2200 block of Vincent Avenue North. To this day, investigators need information. Detectives need someone to come forward with information.

Thoughts? Lois's case may actually not be as cold as it seems based on a CBS Minnesota story. Granted it is from five years ago, but a lieutenant hints that he may have a suspect and that there is a man who knows the suspect, and he had hoped he would come forward.
According to Lieutenant Richard Zimmerman, the suspect was a person that was very close to her, that she helped with money and transportation.
He said the suspect tried to leave the country, but was unable. The person left with a large amount of money that was given to him by a friend, and now investigators want to talk with that friend.
