Moving our thread on Shawn Christy to Fugitives on TV as he was the subject of this week's "Wanted" segment on A&E's Live P.D. Interestingly, they mentioned Canada has been part of the places he's been in this past summer.
He also has or has had his own YouTube channel and they show video of Christy speaking. I'm trying to find it on YouTube but can't so maybe it was taken down.

Eric Frein in a nutshell lol. I feel the reason Christy has been on the run longer than Frein is because he’s not on the ten most wanted list.

The ten most wanted list is a good publicity tool but Shawn Christy is becoming a national news case. There's been CNN and Fox News etc... articles. Publicity blasts have been made. Christy also thankfully so far is wanted for only threatening the same actions as Eric Frein, and thankfully hasn't killed anyone so far. It's hard to justify putting a guy on the top ten list when he hasn't killed or attempted to kill anyone that we know of, even though his threats are a huge concern.
The reason imo that Christy is still on the run is up until now he had been criss crossing across the country which is very hard to keep track of and he is a survivalist who knows how to live by non-traditional means. At first this was one of the more unique/bizarre manhunts of it's own but It seems now the manhunt is more similar to Eric Frein in the woods in PA (or like Eric Rudolph who was caught dumpster diving for food).

Update: HAZLE TWP. — The fugitive who has bedeviled U.S. Marshals and police during a nearly three-month manhunt across several states broke into a Hazleton-area business late Tuesday, according to troopers and media reports. Police say Shawn Christy, 26, got inside Skitco Iron Works along Route 309 — just outside his hometown of McAdoo — and took money, food and a Beretta shotgun. Christy, who has been indicted for threatening President Trump and law enforcement, also reportedly took to social media for the first time in months. In a Facebook post from his personal account with a time stamp of 9:52 p.m. Tuesday, Christy makes allegations against a former McAdoo mayor and a borough policeman. The ex-mayor is the same man Christy was allegedly in a confrontation with last year. Court records indicate that case is still pending against Christy and includes multiple assault charges. The post also says it wasn’t Christy who was spotted near a Dumpster outside the Skipper Dippers restaurant in Schuylkill County last week. Authorities believe Christy had broken into the same spot previously. The post, which was taken down by Wednesday night, asks: “By the way, who was the crisis actor who was dumpster diving at Skipper Dipper’s? I robbed the place, I never dumpster dived there. I don’t make the rules, I’m just here to play the game.” In their press release, troopers did not mention the Facebook post reportedly from Christy. But they did say the area around Skitco was being searched by multiple law enforcement agencies. Troopers consider Christy to be armed and dangerous. Anyone who spots him is advised to immediately call 911. Police believe Christy broke into a relative’s home in Drums in late July and took three handguns. He then allegedly stole a school van from a bus company in Drums. The vehicle later turned up in West Virginia. Christy, a survivalist, was subsequently spotted in other states through August before police believe he returned to the area of southern Luzerne County and Schuylkill County about two weeks ago. www.timesleader.com/news/717219/fugitive-christy-sets-off-another-search-after-alleged-hazleton-area-burglary

I'm confused since I thought I read the Skipper Dipper's sighting was confirmed but now it's not confirmed but still he's still believed to be around the same general areas in Pennsylvania it seems.

Unless he finds the means to take off far from PA without getting recognized, I think his time on the run may be nearing an end.

And now Christy is believed to have possibly stolen a truck in Luzerne County. The vehicle is described as a white GMC Sierra 2500HD bearing Pennsylvania license plate No. ZJP-4486. The vehicle was stolen from Skitco Iron Works in Hazle Township, where Christy last week is accused of stealing other items, including money, food and a Beretta shotgun. www.lehighvalleylive.com/news/index.ssf/2018/09/authorities_believe_shawn_chri.html

P.S. This manhunt (besides what Christy has been charged with, as that's a different type of case) has went from similar to Bucky Phillips to similar to Eric Frein to similar to Eric Rudolph to similar to Bucky Phillips again.
It's like a nostalgia manhunt combining all the elements.
