Anyone remember the last time the FBI added another fugitive wanted out of Puerto Rico to their website? Hopefully this starts a trend of fugitives wanted out of the U.S. Territory being added as I notice a lot of them tend to flee to the U.S. mainland.

Victor Manuel Gerena was wanted by both the FBI New Haven and San Juan field offices, however this is the first fugitive case of someone having committed a violent crime in Puerto Rico being added to the FBI site to my knowledge, also oddly enough it’s not on the Murders or CEI section. Should Alejandro Castillo or Santiago Mederos be caught, this individual could take that spot on the Ten Most Wanted.

New article about Hernandez-Maldonado possibly being in SE Wisconsin (Milwaukee or Waukesha). Also, I know I sound like a broken record, but just because the FBI adds someone to their website doesn't mean they're a candidate for the top ten list. While not excusing it, there a lot more dangerous fugitives than a person wanted for one count of attempted murder (if that's his charge, all we know is he shot his victim) that the FBI can add. It is very rare the FBI adds attempted murder and not murder suspects to the top ten list- the only exceptions this century being Emigdio Preciado because he attempted to kill a police officer and Myloh Mason because it was part of an overall crime streak. That's not say the victim didn't suffer and what Hernandez-Maldonado allegedly did wasn't terrible. I am assuming because of his ties to the mainland United States is the reason Hernandez-Maldonado was added. www.tmj4.com/news/local-news/puerto-rico-man-wanted-by-the-fbi-has-ties-to-se-wisconsin
