It says he will no longer face life without parole or the death penalty so I assume he may still be punished just unfortunately not the most deserving options.

As the article states, it did take a bargaining chip off the table. He really has no incentive to provide information on where Michaela’s remains are now.

David misch has a Wikipedia page now it details and fills in his criminal history pretty well shows what a dangerous predator he is

I did a little digging and on the Wikipedia page he is a convicted sex offender he at age sixteen he committed his first violent offense he raped a housecleaner but was tried as a juvenile and was given a minor sentence and other highlights including attempted rape and assault and numerous theft offenses he also was committed and also served time in San Quentin Im definitely in the camp he had killed more than the two cases he charged with in the double homicide and Michaela garecht I personally think he has more victims he's innocent until proven guilty but I think this guy is a dangerous sociopathic monster and he's clearly a ticking time bomb and I am very happy that codis found his prints of Michaela's scooter and I hope justice is served
