Occasionally, TV shows, especially of old series will get uploaded to web.archive.org as a way to archive episodes in their virtual library. AMW has been posted there a few times. The episode I found was part of an overall entire VHS tape that contained the May 20, 1990 broadcast. It featured Orlando Maisonet whom we already have seen through Youtube, but it also includes the first profile of Pennsylvania murderer and WWII veteran Carl Robert Daub. archive.org/details/AmericasFunniestStuff (search "America's Most Wanted" and it's under the Full VHS tape video. Warning as it takes an extremely long time to buffer through the whole 28 minutes)

The missing child alert was Jessica Martinez. AMW later profiled her still-unsolved murder in 2009.

Here's something else interesting I discovered. Jamie Bowie, the missing woman who was found murdered and was discussed in the episode, was the victim of two AMW fugitives - Billy Ray Riggs and Hilda Sims! articles.latimes.com/1992-01-23/local/me-854_1_van-nuysThey became Captures 186 and 187 in January 1992 after they were profiled on AMW. Interesting to see that their victim was profiled as a missing person, something I didn't realize until now.

Someone uploaded a rip from a VHS tape that contains the February 1, 2003 episode of AMW. This was a "bad girls" episode. It starts about halfway through the Desiree Lingo-Perkins story.
And I also found an 11-hour recording that includes the May 19, 2001 episode of AMW.

I checked his excel spreadsheet and there are well over 600 tapes in his collection. Hopefully he can find more older AMW episodes, whether it be through donations, craigslist or thrift store hunting.

It looks like he's got 3 AMW episodes from 2005 uploaded to Mega (cloud downloading site). I have all three of the episodes, but I can't tell which specific ones they are (I'm at work so I can't watch them). Sounds like he's got one from February 2001 that he hasn't uploaded yet.

He also uploaded the commercials from a January 2001 episode to Youtube, so I'm really curious as to which episode we'll get to see from that. Wishful thinking, but wouldn't it be amazing to see either the Countdown To Justice 2000 (JW's Most Wanted fugitives of 2000) or the 50/50 fugitive episode from November 2000 in this collection? EDIT: Also small mod note and I know that none of the regulars here would do this, but I hope Youtube and web.archive posters don't start bugging this guy for certain AMW episodes, as I know Youtube posters seem to do this all the time.

Someone uploaded an early-90s segment on the then-unsolved murder of Mia Zapata. Mia was the lead singer of a Seattle-based grunge band called The Gits when she was murdered just before the band's big break. Her murder was solved in 2003 after a DNA match led to an inmate who was just about to be released from prison on other charges.
This segment was on YouTube years and years ago but was removed.

The whole episode with the segment is uploaded on Youtube. Look for "America's Most Wanted - Roy Wayne Bevan Edition".

An entire episode of AMW has surfaced on archive.org! This is the Jan. 8, 1993 edition, and it's part of a four-hour video that includes various shows. The AMW segment is about 45-50 minutes into the file.
Cases include an update on Denver Blackwell, AMW Capture #225 (a judge released him on bond and his victim is in hiding; future U.S. Sen. Claire McCaskill is interviewed for the story) and a brief airing of another fugitive that's connected to that judge; profiles of fugitives Joseph Marshall (killed a 16-year-old girl during a grocery store robbery; he became Capture #255 a few months after this profile), John Fairbanks (former judge/attorney who stole money from his clients in New Hampshire; later found dead of an apparent suicide), and Joseph Harper (former cop who pleaded guilty to setting off three bombs so he could brag about being the first officer on scene each time, but fled before sentencing; he became Capture #277 later in the year); the capture of James Hampton, AMW Capture #237; and brief missing child updates on Katie Beers (who was found alive a week after this airing) and Johnny Gosch (who is still missing).
I love when discoveries like this are made! Full AMW episodes, especially from this time, are incredibly rare, so it's a real treat to see this uploaded!

Occasionally I'll check archive.org to see if any clips pop up. I saw this one that said "1993" so I clicked on it and, well, the rest is history. There's a few other full episodes on there too but the rest have been mentioned in this thread already

Thanks for the upload, What happened to that creep Denver Blackwell?, Did the authorities recapture him?
