5-year old LaSandra Coleman's murder was never featured on AMW, however I felt that I should mention it here. On Jul 11, 2005, LaSandra was in a car with her mother, eight-year old sibling and a family friend in Omaha, Nebraska. Gunshots were fired in the direction of the car, striking the rear window and killing LaSandra. The killers may have been targeting one of the adults in the car. There were reports that two people were running through an alley near the murder scene. Thoughts? Sadly this appears to be yet another tragic inner-city unsolved homicide that will never be solved. If one of the other occupants in the car was the target then that person really needs to come forward. It's also possible that this was a case of mistaken identity. Admin Note: According to online reports, a $10,000 reward still stands for information leading to an arrest in this 2005 murder case. Anyone with information on the case should call a detective at 402-444-5652. I'm assumimg they must have been aiming for one of the adults in the car. Why I have no idea. The only thing that could negate this theory is if the target was the adult driver or passenger, it doesn't seem anyone tried to come after them again.
