Authorities in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania say that in August of 2016, an elderly couple hired Gerard to complete a deck at their home. They paid him $12,000 in advance deposits over the following six months. In May of 2017, Gerard started to work on the deck but allegedly failed to finish the work he had agreed to. On June 29, 2017, an arrest warrant was issued for home improvement fraud. He is also wanted out of York County, Pennsylvania on similar charges. Gerard's last known address was in Wilmington, Delaware.

Thoughts? A special alert in my opinion for our readers in the home improvement or construction industries, or those who are looking for a contractor. I feel that Gerard is still in this line of work while on the run. He could still very easily be doing this type of work under the table.
