Photo Credits: Wanted by Murder by Stephen G. Michaud DOB: June 6, 1943 Height: 5'9 Weight: 145 lbs Hair: Black Eyes: Brown Alias: "Sonny" -- On January 22, 1985, Winifred was at a bootleg house in Dallas, Texas when he and his girlfriend got into an altercation with Odell Livingston. When the argument got escalated, Winifred allegedly shot Odell twice to death. Winifred's girlfriend then allegedly slashed Odell's date. Winifred was identified as the suspect by his girlfriend a few months later and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was sighted in Mississippi and Louisiana but with no sightings since 1986 according to the 1990 book on fugitives wanted for murder. Based on crime location, it is advised to contact the Dallas Police Department's Homicide Unit at 214-671-3661 if you have any information on Winifred Lee Noble's whereabouts.Moderator Note: If you have any news-related updates on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form --Thoughts? Winifred was featured in Stephen G. Michaud's 1990 book called "Wanted for Murder". He was also listed in the "AMW Master List of Fugitives" we received two years ago. I'm guessing he was profiled during the early 1990s. As for confirming this is still an active case, I went to the Dallas County Felony case information page. When an individual is wanted for a crime, there will be either a space or an a in their case summary. I checked his page and confirmed he's still wanted, thanks to Dallas County for keeping those records free unlike certain other counties. As for Winifred's current whereabouts, he may be still in the South somewhere if he's still alive. Kinda surprised that he's never been arrested. Based on the 1990 book and an old newspaper clip from the 1960s, he was in constant trouble with law enforcement over the years.

I don't get why some of these AMW fugitives just completely disappeared off any type of coverage after presumably early 90's airings.

According to an article I found: January 22, 1985, Odell Livingston, 24, was murdered as a result of a gunshot wound. Thirty-three years later, the Cold Case Squad was contacted requesting information about the case. The Squad’s investigation revealed a warrant had been issued for Murder for the suspect in the case, Winifred Noble. It was also determined the suspect is now deceased, leading to the closure of the case. dpdbeat.com/2019/02/21/cold-case-squad-on-the-case/amp/I was reading both Wanted for Murder and Murderers Among Us and started looking up all the cases where there wasn’t much info on and came across this regarding Noble.

Thank you for the update. I also found a document in the Dallas County Court Documents database where it mentions Winifred has since died. obpublicaccess.dallascounty.org/PublicAccessEP1/CriminalCourts/ (Search “F8584745”)
