I believe it has been mentioned that Brown is bisexual and I think AMW might have mentioned it in one of their last-ever Brown airings although I can't recall for sure. Despite that, the latest airing on Brown was that Dateline NBC special, where the agents interviewed stated they believed it was possible Brown was leeching off a woman. That sort of gives me the impression they believe he prefers women to men even though he apparently has bisexual tendencies as well. Maybe it's just me, but I thought it was strange that in such a thorough one-hour special, they left the bisexual part out but mentioned he may be with a woman, and perhaps there was a reason.
But I agree, nothing can be overlooked including this.

"With the commonness of his name and how he looks, like a surfer dude in California, we’ve had more tips [about this] fugitive than any other on ‘America’s Most Wanted,'" Leising said.
In addition to first-degree murder, Brown is charged with armed robbery and unlawful flight to avoid prosecution. Authorities say that after shooting Palomares, he made off with $56,000 on a getaway mountain bike.
Prior to the murder, Brown was a Mormon missionary, and the FBI now believes he may be hiding within the Mormon community.
"It's a possibility because of Jason's familiarity with the Mormon Church," Special Agent Manuel Johnson told ABCNews.com. "Prior to the shooting he was involved in different types of fraud, so he's not who he claims to be and we could see him taking advantage of people."

If you're just watching cable news to fulfill an addiction to things political, you may have missed the story of D. B. Tuber, the clever, mysterious criminal who pulled off an armored car robbery in Monroe, Washington on Tuesday, September 30. 2008
D. B. Tuber isn't his real name, of course, it's the nickname someone somewhere (seriously, I don't know how he got it) has already given the guy who masterminded a heist that could have come straight out of a Hollywood script. The nick is an obvious homage to the pseudonymous Dan "D. B." Cooper, the mysterious skyjacker who parachuted with his ill-gotten gains from an airliner way back in 1971 and was never seen again.
Yeah, yeah, people who write about certain types of crime use the "out of a Hollywood script" trope a lot, but just wait -- you'll see what I mean. And at the end of it all you'll get a half-assed theory/suggestion from me as to who might have concocted such an admittedly clever scenario.
The caper started off on Craigslist.org. An enticing ad was posted on or about September 27 seeking laborers for a landscaping job that was to begin on the 30th in Monroe. The job would pay $28.50 an hour. The poster, who used the e-mail address cleanmonroe@live.com, was very specific about what laborers were supposed to wear: "workers must purchase safety glasses or equivalent eye protection, ventilator mask, yellow safety vest, long sleeves and no shorts, along with proper foot protection." The poster also stated that anyone showing up that Tuesday morning should have "landscaping experience."
Tuesday morning rolled around and a man wearing a long-sleeved blue shirt, a blue hat, and camouflage shorts strolled across the parking lot of the Bank of America on Route 2 in Monroe. He wore a particle mask (similar to a surgical mask if seen from a distance) and carried some sort of sprayer.
He ran up to the armored car and the guard parked there in the lot and sprayed the guard, disabling him. The robber grabbed a bag of money and he took off in the direction of the nearby Skykomish River.
The Seattle Post-Intelligencer reported that two men who witnessed the robbery took off after the guy, but he was too fast. A third witness spotted a man fitting the robber's description near Woods Creek. It isn't actually clear as to whether the guy truly hopped in an inner tube to make his getaway, but police did find a tube next to the river. Hell, it makes a good story, so for the moment, we'll just imagine he did.
The cops came and found themselves confronted with the 12 or so guys who had shown up for the job advertised on Craigslist. Most of them were dressed as they'd been told to dress. Therefore, they were dressed like the guy who'd just robbed the armored car.
There was no landscaping job. There were only 12 guys looking to make a buck who were scammed into essentially being the robber's camouflage.
As Monroe Police Operations Commander Gary Clopp dryly told one paper, "It is obvious that some pre-planning took place."
I'm not so cocky as to write the following and call it gospel. At best it's a guess, an intuition.
This story made me think of an alleged armored car robber and killer named Jason Derek Brown. Brown has been on the run from the law since 2004.
This isn't as big a stretch as it may seem. For one thing, Brown has been spotted recently, in his home state of Utah.
Brown is wanted for the November 29, 2004 robbery and murder of armored car guard Robert Keith Palomares in Ahwatukee, AZ, just outside of Phoenix.
Read the way America's Most Wanted describes the attack on Palomares:
As Keith left the theater complex, a hooded man, dressed entirely in black, came running, his gun drawn. Then, without speaking a word, police say the gunman started firing at Keith's head. In all, six shots were fired, five striking the driver. Police say the gunman then grabbed the bag of money and took off towards an alley. The hooded fugitive hopped on a bike and fled...
A quick, running attack -- only in this case with a gun. The money was snatched and the robber ran for a non-standard getaway vehicle -- a bicycle.
The robber in Monroe fit Brown's general description -- right height range, and he looked to be in his mid-20s. While Brown is near 40, it isn't a big leap to think a witness might mistake the age of a guy in a situation like this. Jason Derek Brown is known to be athletic and fit, and he has a peculiar habit of shaving all his body hair, save the hair on his head. That sort of thing might take a few years off a guy's appearance.
Brown has ties to the Northwest. AMW listed locations Brown has frequented in the past. In addition to Salt Lake City, Brown may be hiding in places like Portland, Oregon and Vancouver and Whistler, Canada.
Brown is also into water sports like boating and fishing.
You can begin to see why the crime committed by the mysterious D. B. Tuber might make Jason Brown come to mind.
There's another reason. It's out there, but it's the sort of thing that might just keep bothering me if I didn't just go ahead and throw it against the wall, see if it sticks.
I did a Google search on a phrase from the Monroe Craigslist ad: "safety glasses or equivalent eye protection."
There were nine hits. Three were news articles about this case, four were identical texts on auto repair. Another hit had something to do with aviation. The interesting result was from a Utah State Government manual dictating proper handling of hazardous waste. Utah -- Jason Brown's home state.
I'm fully aware of how tangential these connections are. Sometimes, though, a large number of connections that might be minimal by themselves can be compelling when they're added together. Here we have someone who either is Jason Derek Brown himself or he has a hell of a lot in common with the Top Ten fugitive. Frankly, I think you could ignore the fact that Brown has frequented that part of the northwest and certainly ignore the oddly tell-tale phrase from Craigslist and still find the robber's approach to the Monroe crime interesting. He cleverly set up a smokescreen with the fake ad. Then he approached wearing a disguise that was, in context, not all that odd. He blitzed the guard, just as Brown allegedly did in Arizona, but fortunately for the Washington guard, he used pepper spray instead of a gun. He took off on foot towards a body of water -- a similar escape to Brown's.
In the end, I honestly expect that police will find that someone else committed this crime. There are known details that might point away from Brown, after all -- for instance, how did the robber know to set up the ruse with the laborers at the right time that Tuesday morning? That took either careful observation or inside knowledge.
But I just found the possible connections to the fugitive too interesting to ignore. If justice prevails and Jason Derek Brown ends up in federal prison with D. B. Tuber, whoever he is, at least the guys will have something to talk about.

That's a pretty crazy story! I researched this further and discovered they arrested a suspect who was not Jason Derek Brown, however. 28-year old Anthony Curcio was soon arrested and named the mastermind. But it is certainly understandable why the writer thought it could be Brown. It wouldn't hurt to further look into armored car robberies since 2004 to see if Brown was possibly involved. Although I assume this may have already been done. www.truecrimereport.com/2008/11/remember_d_b_tuber_anthony_cur.php

I came across this it reminded me of Jason Derek Brown i understand this is something that has never been full proof, and even more reason for today's technology. Who's to say Brown did try this and it has been working for the past ten years getting under some loop holes. Well tell me waht you think........
Ghosting is a form of identity theft in which someone steals the identity, and sometimes even the role within society, of a specific dead person (the "ghost") who is not widely known to be deceased. Usually, the person who steals this identity (the "ghoster") is roughly the same age that the ghost would have been if still alive, so that any documents citing the birthdate of the ghost will not be conspicuously incorrect if appropriated by the thief now claiming to be that person.
The use of counterfeit identification falsely documenting a completely fictional identity is not ghosting, as false identification cannot be used to obtain social services or interact with government agencies or law enforcement officials. The purpose of ghosting is to enable the ghoster to claim for his own use an existing identity that is already listed in government records -- an identity that is dormant because its original possessor is dead.
Ghosting is based on the premise (now less justified than in previous times) that separate government agencies do not share a total exchange of information. Therefore, a ghoster can obtain a passport or Social Security benefits in the name of a dead person because the agencies in charge of those services do not routinely cross-check an applicant's history to determine if a death certificate has been issued in that person's name.
Ghosting has never been foolproof,Ghosting is no longer as easy as it once was...

Considering how he became a ghost- yes, anything is possible. As a matter of fact, captured FBI top tenner Eric Toth, who was a tech wiz, was said to have stolen multiple identities while on the run. While they didn't say whether or not they were of living or deceased people, it seems a tactic some of the more savvy fugitives have used while on the run.

This is the first I read Jason D. Brown may be in the Underground Sex Trade? Is FBI Most Wanted Mormon Fugitive Jason Derek Brown Involved in the Underground Sex Trade Biz? FBI Most Wanted Mormon Fugitive Jason Derek Brown is he a Sex Slaver? Physic tells me that ‘Derek’ and ‘Tony’ head up gang of Sex Slavers, they work out of the Atlanta GA area and are constantly on the move with the girls in the ‘Underground Sex Trade’ hitting hip-hop nightclubs making as much as $30,000 a week. Latter-Day Saints Elder Jason ‘Derek’ Brown didn’t start as a hardened criminal. As a member and Elder of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (LDS), he embarked on his required mission trip to France in 1988, he became an Elder. Jason ‘Derek’ Brown’s own father was a gambler and a con man. When Jason ‘Derek’ Brown returned from France, he moved back to his hometown, Laguna Beach, and got married. But his attitude shifted after his father, rumored to have criminal links, disappeared in 1994. He left his wife and developed an interest in luxury cars, strippers, hip-hop nightclubs, booze and club drugs, which requires lots and lots of cash. For sure this has to be someone's theory not fact, but it's the first I heard of this.....THOUGHT'S.....I really wish we had more positive leads on this guy....

The biggest issue I have with this theory is that it was suggested by a psychic. I've never been a big believer in psychics and there's nothing else to suggest that Brown could be involved in sex trafficking.
But after just about 10 years, I guess anything is possible when it comes to Brown.

I immediately discredit any theory from a psychic. I also don't believe in that stuff. I have never read a news article "psychic solves major crime case."
So while I think that theory is ridiculous, anything else is possible, even other crazy theories. It will take a lot to surprise me if and when Brown is finally captured. At least as far as whereabouts are concerned.

It's been a long frustrating ten years when it comes to Jason D. Brown, unfortunately there has been no new leads that we know of. At this point we all have is our theory's, and speaking of theory's what would be yours? as you do know the story of Mr. Brown. If you were in his shoe's, what would of you have done next?? We know the FBI feels he may be shacked up with some female that may not even know his real identity living a normal life. Or, the conspiracy theory that he may be possibly with his father. It is said if we can look into Browns past it may lead us to him now?? true or false?? My question is did Brown's father have a current legal case pending we he disappeared? Also maybe if we did focus more on his father we might just find his son. From what we know has the FBI even tried to locate Browns father?? I’m just saying who knows the conspiracy theory may be true the real question is have we even tried to prove it wrong. It's very hard to be on the run for this long without contacting family or friends. In Brown's case maybe just maybe he turned to his father..My next theory is Brown is in a non-extradition country and has not even thought twice to return to the US. It sucks there has been no new leads and we really don’t have much more to say about brown this why i was curious on what other members theory's might be about Jason D. Brown. Theory’s can’t hurt who knows you might be right.....

As I've said a few times before the problem with Brown is although AMW often says he can be anywhere in America or the world, Jason Derek Brown literally could be. If and hopefully when he's finally captured I might be surprised at what he did to stay on the run, but he is an average looking white guy (so am I so I can say that lol) that is fluent in English and French and perhaps even Spanish (just a feeling I have since I think I remember reading About his father taking trips to Mexico), So any location probably wouldn't surprise me. I'm a little uncomfortable putting myself in the shoes of a fugitive , however I think in general a fugitive with this much publicity does not want to be in America. They supposedly turned up the heat in Thailand, so that would be my educated guess based on leads. But if I didn't know that lead and this is really grasping at straws here so who knows- it would be France followed by British Columbia in Canada. Brown was a Mormon missionary in France. He speaks fluent French. He seems to have enjoyed his time there. Not to mention although France has an extradition treaty with the U.S. as we've seen with Ira Einhorn it can sometimes be a long legal process. And France will only extradite if the death penalty is not sought. If Brown doesn't want to get executed a country where he won't be if caught he's familiar with makes sense. British Columbia is another guess if he didn't want to flee that far and be in another country but not completely away from his family if it turns out he isn't a ghost and is somehow in touch with them. It's in the Northwest. He speaks French and Canada has a large French-speaking population. So based on new articles the guess is Thailand or another country in Asia. (Hong Kong perhaps) But just based on my internet armchair sleuthing deductions I'd guess France or British Columbia. But once again he can be anywhere..
