Patricia Plummer Mondrik was discovered deceased inside her apartment in the 9800 block of Powhattan on Tuesday, September 1, 1981. Patricia's employer had been trying to reach her since Monday when she did not show for work. She was found the next day and appeared that she had been dead for several days. Patricia suffered massive head and facial wounds along with stab wounds.
Evidence at the scene and through the investigation indicates that Patricia knew her assailant. A boyfriend vanished immediately before the discovery of this Murder, and it is believed the boyfriend fled to Mexico. Homicide Detectives are interested in speaking with the boyfriend.

Thoughts? We've seen in other cases where even if someone is only sought for questioning and no warrant has been issued, detectives still release their name and photo for tips. Hopefully they release the identity of this boyfriend because in the event that he is Patricia's killer, people need to be able to recognize him.
