In Pursuit confirms on Facebook they are working on Abby and Libby's case for an upcoming show. Not sure which show since the season finale is the only episode I know of where there's one case yet to be named so it could be that or a special episode or a case for next season but we'll see. Glad to see they're going to give Abby and Libby more attention though.

A reminder the airing is tonight at 10:30 during Callahan's portion of the show. I hate to say I'm "looking forward" to such an awful case but I have pretty adamant from the beginning In Pursuit had to do Abby and Libby's case if they ever started doing full segments that had no known suspect and sure enough now that they are they are airing the search for their killer. (Or even killers, since they said more than one suspect hasn't been ruled out). So I am glad to see the case get a bit more attention.
I personally changed my mind about the killer not being from the area because even Callahan Walsh admitted to having difficulty navigating the bridge and trail. A killer unfamiliar with the area wouldn't have had such an easy time walking around- albeit with a gait- and Abby and Libby may have been able to outrun a less-skilled person.
Also I'm still seeing people sharing photos of who they think is BG (The unknown suspect is sometimes to referred to as "BG" aka Bridge Guy on sleuthing sites and other social media) and some of the photos are of ordinary citizens and not even registered sex offenders (which is also a privacy violation even if they are sex offenders). This is reckless and irresponsible. Anyone who thinks they know who BG is and have images should send the the photos to In Pursuit and/or Indiana State Police only.

Robert Ives, a retired Carroll County prosecutor, says there is more information to be release and it is time that perhaps investigators should reveal a little bit more, as another clue may be what it takes for someone to make a connection.
Saw the HLN specials- they were well-done although to be honest there wasn't much new- although in fairness part of the 2-parter was the debate over whether police should release any additional "new" evidence (it's old to them but would be new to us).
Most interesting part to me was actually retired FBI criminal profile Mary O'Toole- she believes unfortunately this may be a sexually motivated crime and that the killer seemed very comfortable and is probably someone that no one would suspect- he could be a regular guy even married with children himself.
Also I noticed the old "BG" (Bridge Guy) sketch has been automatically updated for the newer one in previous postings of ours- so just wanted to point that out for anyone who comes across our thread and wonder why we're posting about guys who look like nothing like the new sketch being detained as possible suspects. (Although Becky Patty believes the sketches are more similar than one may think if you look at the facial features itself. She came around them after initial frustration).

Carroll County investigators are looking at James Brian Chadwell as a possible suspect in Abby and Libby's case. Chadwell was recently arrested in Lafayette, Indiana for attempting to sexually assault and murder a 9-year-old girl.
Highest Priority Case: Murder Victim, Alexandra (Alex) Anaya Missing Person: Ashley Summers Most Wanted #5: Frantz Dieudonne Most Wanted #4: Barrett Preston Busschau Most Wanted #3: FBI Top Ten Fugitive, Bhadreshkumar Patel Most Wanted #2: FBI Top Ten Fugitive, Rafael Caro-Quintero Public Enemy #1: FBI Most Wanted Terrorist: Saif Al-Adel
What's frustrating is from time to time there's a suspect who makes the national news who "could be the guy" only for it to not be the guy and there's more disappointment and heartbreak. I guess eventually they'll get a guy who actually is the guy. I'm hoping that's finally the case with Chadwell.
I read a statement from one of the victims’ relatives. It sounds to me like they may have DNA (perhaps touch DNA or something along those lines), but they are waiting for scientific advancements before they really have a smoking gun.

It seems police are being tight lipped about what they do or don't have.
For example- I hate to go this route- it does seem like there's been hinting that this monster also sexually assaulted Abby and Libby- but police have never outright stated that.
If that was the case - there would be DNA- although for whatever reason I think I remember CeeCee Moore stating this wasn't a case where she was able to help or it's been implied if they did have sufficient DNA she would be asked to help but she hasn't been.

I hate to frame it in a cynical way- but just wondering how we all feel about the odds of there being an arrest anytime soon? I get more and more frustrated since I feel it is finally time to release additional evidence to the public. I understand this isn't CSI where cases are solved in an hour- but my goodness Abby and Libby helped to start the initial solving of their own case and four years later and still no answers.
