(Above: Left: Morgan Nick missing), circa 1995. Right: Sketch of suspected abductor. Photo Credits: Charley Project) Missing Child/Person Profile as of September 3rd, 2014 (from Charley Project website): Missing since: June 9, 1995 from Alma, Arkansas Classification: Non-Family Abduction Date of Birth: September 12, 1988 Height and Weight (at time of disappearance): 4'0, 55 lbs Distinguishing Characteristics: Caucasian female. Blonde hair, blue eyes. Nick had five visible silver caps on her molars at the time of her 1995 disappearance; the caps were scheduled to be removed in 2000. Her teeth were crowded at the time of her 1995 disappearance and she will need orthodontic braces in adolescence. Nick has a protruding purple vein on the lower left side of her rib cage. Clothing/Jewelry Description: A green Girl Scouts t-shirt, blue denim shorts and white leather sneakers TIPS: If you have any information on this case, call the Alma Police Department at 501-632-3930, the Arkansas State Police at 501-783-5195 OR the FBI at 202-324-3000Authorities in Arkansas have been searching for missing child Morgan Nick for nearly 20 years, as well as the identity of her suspected abductor who's name remains unknown. AMW aired this case six times between 1995 and 2006. 6-year old Morgan, her mother and her friends attended a little league baseball game in the evening hours on Jun 9, 1995 in Alma, Arkansas. Sometime during the evening, an unidentified white male aged 23-38 who spoke with a hillbilly accent asked a group of children playing with Morgan a question, the specifics were never released by law enforcement. The man was watching Morgan during the baseball game. Morgan disappeared at 10:45 PM and the mysterious man who drove a red Ford pickup truck with a white camper was never seen again. The truck had Arkansas license plates. Authorities believe that two other attempted abductions of young girls in the area that occurred on Jun 9 and 10th are linked to this case as well. Something unusual was that right before the old fox.com amw forum went offline, a poster mentioned that the abductor of Morgan actually resembled Morgan's uncle. The poster e-mailed me but that went to my old e-mail account so I'll have to see if I can re-access it. I don't remember why the poster suspected it though. Another piece of information was that there were articles from 1995 that mentioned possible sightings of Morgan in both Arkansas and South Carolina. The man with a girl (who claimed to be her uncle in at least the Arkansas sightings) was buying dresses for her. However it's quite possible that wasn't Morgan in the first place and even if it was her, there's nothing to say it was her uncle as well. I suspect that her immediate family was questioned and ruled out as potential suspects because I've never heard law enforcement suspect a family member in this case. Someone on another true-crime forum mentioned that Dennis Bradford may have been involved. AMW viewers will likely remember him as the unidentified rapist of Jennifer Schuett back in 1990 who was caught shortly after being profiled on AMW (indirect capture). The age of Bradford at the time of his 2009 arrest and the approximate age of Morgan's suspected abductor would actually match. The only problem is that Bradford committed suicide in prison in 2010 so if he was responsible, we'll likely never know the answer. I would say sadly based on the passage of time I'm not sure if Morgan would still be alive, but the amazing recovery in Cleveland and Jaycee Dugard case has taught us to never give up hope. I would be more interested in learning about the person that thought it may be their Uncle.

I really need to get better at proofreading.

I would be curious to know what the question asked was, but law enforcement seems to feel it is crucial to the case that it be kept confidential.

It's ok, I'm probably even more sloppy at times But that is an interesting theory. I would be curious to know what the question asked was, but law enforcement seems to feel it is crucial to the case that it be kept confidential. I've read comments mentioning that Charley Project isn't that reliable of a website, and I should point out I've occasionally found errors on the site. I think the purpose of the site is to be a collection of facts and developments regarding the individual missing person cases, even the developments that are proven to have no connection to the case. The site may keep leads on the webpage that the media eventually gave up reporting on since they weren't getting authorities closer to solving the case, but couldn't have been ruled out as not being related. I've also read comments saying that the man depicted in the sketch may not even be connected to the case since there's no actual evidence that he was involved. Assuming the other attempted abductions are true (which they probably are), the sketch may have been put together by Morgan's friends (probably around six-seven) and they may have not made a 100% accurate portrayal of the man they saw. It's also possible that the man altered his appearance after Morgan's abduction. I should mention that there are alot of unsolved AMW cases with suspect sketches that almost never get identified. A sketch is only a 2-D portrayal of someone at the time of the crime or shortly before or after. There are likely numerous men that resemble the sketch in Morgan's case in some way, even ones that are from Arkansas.

This past June unfortunately marks the 25th anniversary of her disappearance. Here is a NCMEC video about her case which includes a recent age progression and talks of a new documentary. Here are also segments from YouTube personality Savannah Brymer and the podcast True Crime Garage about her case as well as a collage of age progressions of Morgan throughout the years.

It sounds from what I have read that this person is their primary suspect.

Scumhunter said it best: if this is the person who was indeed responsible, this shows how eyewitness testimony can be very wrong.

www.4029tv.com/amp/article/court-records-reveal-more-information-about-person-of-interest-in-morgan-nick-case/38216081There is some very alarming evidence indicating Lincks may indeed be the person who abducted Morgan Nick. Two months after Nick was abducted, a girl in nearby Van Buren, AR was offered money by Lincks if she went to his house with him. He was arrested for solicitation of a minor. The police searched his pick-up truck and new evidence emerged: 1) Blood of unknown origin was found in the truck. A sample was saved for testing; 2) Unknown hairs were found in the pick-up truck. These hairs were also saved for testing. 3) A neighbor of Lincks’ said he did remember that Lincks did have a camper shell on the back of his pickup in June of 1995 when Morgan Nick was abducted. A similar vehicle was seen leaving the area around the time Morgan vanished. The FBI public affairs official describes Lincks as a “major person of interest.” It sounds like they are confident he was the person who did this. Again, he is deceased, but damning evidence may come out showing he was responsible. It sounds like that could happen with forensics.
