From NBC Reno: RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — A 52-year-old suspect in a triple-homicide reported in Sacramento this month is believed to be in the Reno-Sparks area, according to police. Officers in Sacramento found three people on Oct. 15, 2016, who were apparently stabbed to death. The suspect, Jerod Watson, fled Sacramento in an SUV that was recently found in Reno, according to Reno Police. Authorities in Sacramento say a woman returned to her Sacramento home Oct. 15 and found her mother and adult sons dead from multiple stab wounds. Investigators say Watson was a family friend but also in a relationship with the woman. They have not said why they suspect him. There is an active arrest warrant for Watson, who should be considered armed and dangerous. He is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. The Sacramento Police and Reno Police Department ask that anyone who knows where Watson is located to contact the Reno Police Department at (775) 334-2188, or Secret Witness at 322-4900, www.secretwitness.com, or text the tip to 847411 (TIP 411) keyword – SW.mynews4.com/news/local/suspect-in-sacramento-triple-homicide-believed-to-be-in-reno-sparks-areaThoughts? It seems Watson is believed to be in Reno but if you believe you spot this breaking news fugitive wherever you are reading this posting right now, please do the right thing and call police. UPDATE: Watson is now listed on the Sacramento Crime Alert website so anyone with tips can presumably contact them as well: www.crimealert.org/wanteds.aspx?SID=50667 Admin Note: If you have any (news-related) updated information on this case, please contact us here: amwfans.com/thread/1662/website-contact-form

As per new forum tradition, any breaking news fugitive wanted for a triple or even worse homicide will be stickied to the top of the forum-exclusives section for at least one week (that way we can still make threads and reply to other recent fugitive cases in this section while still giving a case like this the attention it deserves.)

I've been reading as well that Jerod Watson was charged twice with domestic violence in the past, one of the charges were dropped but not the other one. Unfortunately it sounds like Jerod treated the woman he was in a relationship with like garbage for years before he allegedly killed her and her adult sons. He needs to be located to face these charges in a court of law, not to get away with it living a life as a fugitive.

No updates but just bumping this up to reflect Watson has been named my #1 Most Wanted fugitive for 2016. I hope that he will get caught and face the death penalty California while it still has a capital punishment system, it is very, very, very slow in executing inmates. There are hundreds of people on death row there. So even if Jerod Watson is theoretically sentenced to death, the likelihood of him being executed compared to dying in custody is pretty slim. I agree that if convicted, Jerod does deserve the death penalty in my opinion.
