Remarks: Aubrey Jayce Carroll has a pierced left ear and, when last seen, wore a goatee. He was last seen wearing a white polo short, jeans, white Nike brand shoes, and a red windbreaker. He no longer wears braces on his teeth.
TIPS: Anyone having information should call 1-800-THE-LOST or the Spalding County Sheriff's Office (Georgia) at 1-770-467-4282 or their local FBI.
From the FBI's website: Aubrey Jayce Carroll was last seen on May 24, 2016, when he left his high school early and did not return to his home in Griffin, Georgia. It is believed that he may have stayed with friends for a few days and mentioned that he was going to Jones County, Georgia, where he has ties. He also has ties to Spalding County, Georgia. Aubrey Carroll has been found alive and well two years after his disappearance! He appeared on a Facebook live video with the Spaulding County Sheriff to thank everyone who was looking for him. No word on where he was, but I'm sure everyone agrees the most important thing is that he's ok. P.S. One issue I'd like to address though, I'm reading a lot of judgmental comments on Facebook about Aubrey- he should give money back to the police for wasted resources, he should be ashamed of what he did to his family etc... I have to things to say to that:
1. None of those people know his situation and/or what caused him to run away.
2. Teenagers run away all the time. It's unfortunate, but it's what a lot of them do. A lot of people would like to think otherwise but their brains aren't fully developed yet, a lot are mature beyond their years but they're still not adults, they have hormones, they have a range of emotions.
I think what's important is Aubrey is safe and whatever else should be worked out with his family and is nobody else's business.
So once again, to all such people making those comments on Facebook, I just have three words: Go F*** Yourself.
