On Oct 7, 2011, Jose Munoz-Teran was indicted by a grand jury for the murder of his wife, Renata Fernandez-Ramon in Ortonville, Minnesota. The following November, Renata's body was found in a shallow grave. On the day of his indictment, Jose picked up his two children from their school, who would now be 15 and 17-years old and said he was moving to Mexico. He is believed to be with them in the Mexican state of Veracruz where he has family. He also has contacts in Minnesota and South Dakota that may know something about his whereabouts.
According to online articles, A reward of $1,000 is being offered in the case and people with information on Munoz-Teran are urged to call either the BCA (Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension) at 877-996-6222 or the Ortonville police or Big Stone County sheriff at 320-839-3558..

Thoughts? Jose's children have had to spend the last five years as children on the run and without their mother whom their father is charged with murdering. Thankfully, according to the last news report on this case earlier this year, Mexican authorities are working with Minnesota investigators which is good sign of progress.
