From the AMW archives:
"Cleveland police are looking for the unknown killers of 62-year-old Frances Jones. Frances was gunned down in her driveway on Monday, February 4, 2002 in the early evening hours.
Police think that Frances interrupted a burglary-in-progress at her home. After she caught the robbers red-handed, cops say they used a semi-automatic handgun and shot Frances three times. Police say she died in her driveway.
Frances was a volunteer with Fox Channel 8 (WJW-Cleveland). She was a "Call to Action" group volunteer. Frances had worked all day with the "Call To Action" phone center on Monday. Police think the robbers broke in while she was at WJW volunteering.
When Frances husband came home at around 7:45 pm, he at first thought it was the chemo-therapy treatment for colon cancer that caused her collapse in their driveway. It wasn't until he tried to revive her that Donald Jones, 66, realized his wife had been shot."

Thoughts? According to a 2012 Fox 8 articles, Fran Jones' case, which was aired on the June 15th, 2002 episode of America's Most Wanted, is still unsolved. However, family members say they believe they know who was responsible. They believe Jones' grandson was dealing drugs at the time of her death, and the robbers were trying to find his stash that he may have hidden in her basement. Unfortunately this possible lead still hasn't led to any arrests in the case as far as I can tell.
