I'm normally not a fan of "movie villain" fugitives being added, not because they don't deserve it but because I feel RCQ and El Gato would have been caught regardless and it is an intelligence operation to catch them whether they were on the list or not, but I would make an exception for Jose Noriel Portillo Gil aka Chueco if he is any way wanted in the U.S. as well. Dude is beyond evil.

Dude is beyond evil. I agree. I had not realized this guy was a possibility. I would like to add him and Edgardo Luis Perez to my list of possible contenders. I could see both making the list. Gil reportedly murdered a professor from the U.S. because he thought he was an undercover DEA agent (RCQ has committed a double murder in the same way). Whether or not this means the U.S. can assume jurisdiction remains to be seen.

Yeah that's the confusion for me as to whether he's only wanted in Mexico or the U.S. as well. Mexico really wants to catch him though it seems unlike other guys where they drag their feet.

How about that! El Gato is taken down after a little over 2 years on the list. 3 spots open now, anybody have any thoughts on how FBI will approach this?

Well ive been doing some thinking about who could replace Rafael Caro Quintero Michael Pratt and Jose Rodolfo Villarreal Hernandez aka El Gato all three of the guys were very good additions in my opinion two were very high stakes and the third was a my favorite capture of 2022 Pratt was my favorite apprehension of the fbis list because he was very stupid in choosing a location where they were on high alert for him

My predictions for the next fugitives on the list are
Donald Eugene Fields could hiding in plain sight in Missouri or Kentucky i know he is a relative recent addition but he fits the sex trafficker or human trafficker spot pretty well in my opinion and hes just as big of a scum bag as Pratt
I think Carlos Felino Hernandez is way over due to be captured and with the big captures we been getting out of Mexico refresher for those who don't know he was wanted for a homicide that happened at a birthday party this happened in Los Angeles County in 2006 dont if he was on AMW or anything i think he was he fits the gang related murderer spot pretty well one thats hasnt been filled since debatably Walter Yovany Gomez he was captured in Virginia in 2017 so i think Hernandez could be hiding in Tijuana Mexico to this day ill get to my third entry when i get back

Anybody know why El Gato isn’t listed as captured on the FBI website?

Anybody know why El Gato isn’t listed as captured on the FBI website? I’m guessing they are waiting for fingerprints to come back. When Jorge Alberto Lopez-Orozco was arrested in Mexico in 2009, it took a day or two for his prints to come back. That does remind me: 2009 was the last time there were three vacancies on the list. Wouldn’t it be amazing if there was a fourth?!?

They have had some very good tips on him.

I would also like to add Michel Barrera to my potential additions list. Implicated in two armed bank robberies, shot at officers, and he is now wanted for questioning in a homicide in Florida which occurred in 2007. It is also suspected he is tied to MS-13.

I want to just point this out, but I hope the FBI bags another capture soon so there could be an unprecedented 4 slots open, that’s what I’d love to see more than anything… Well I personally wish the entire list had captured labels under their photos, but unfortunately we don’t live in a perfect world.

I hope with some of the Top Tenners, it’s a Yaser Said-type situation where they are right on their tail, but haven’t revealed it publicly.
