I'm really tired of politics as usual and some people saying the FBI lost credibility. Look the reason I love sleuthing is because I want to get away from politics, having political discussions is okay on the person's own time with who that person wants when it's appropriate, like a politics class such as sociology or history. Director Jim Comey to be fair has done a wonderful job in adding fugitives to the list, even though a CAC hasn't made it on since 2013. Politics only divide but seeking justice and answers is where we stand together.
But anyways politics aside If the FBI is planning a double addition, it would end up being a recent and long timer as history has shown us. Terry Strickland is going to be the recent fugitive to be added if not caught soon. We'll have to wait what happens the day they do add the 2 new top tenners and see, but at the same time I want 2 recent fugitives to be added in order to be able to open the slots quicker, but to counter that argument it doesn't make things interesting. Sawhill is the only fugitive from before 2007 I'm considering as a candidate, other than that I want to focus on the the past 1-7 years for a longtimer. But we'll see when Comey makes the call.
Possible contenders:
Candidates on the run for 5+ years:
The Hunt aired fugitives
•Bruce Emerson Sawhill
•Jorge Rueda Landeros
CAC
•William Lee Copp
•Gregory Whitehead
•Luis Tejada
•Juan Najera Quezada
•Gerardo Beltran
•Otis Lee Cooper
Murder
•Cesar Villarreal
•Alejandro Sanchez
•Joe Matthew Constance
•Juan Laureano-Arvizu
•Javier Montanez, Jr.
•Daniel Min Suh
Additional violent crimes
•David Anthony Durham
Candidates that have been on the run less than 5 years:
The Hunt aired fugitives:
•Alfonso Diaz Juarez
CAC
•Ranger Lacy
•Domingo Maye
•Stanley Simms
•Juan Paulino Cantero
•Gerardo Cruz-Hernandez
Murder
•Bhadreshkumar Chetanbhai Patel
•Caris E. Ayala
Additional Violent crimes
•Danielle Renee Ware
Any thoughts on the post?

In regards to Director Comey, it's a fine line to walk on because I really don't like to discuss politics on this site. But up until this year he was well respected on both sides on the aisle. This year he has had both sides mad at him at various times for various reasons. I will say I know it's the in-thing to be all "I hate both parties", and while choosing a Democrat or Republican is often basically picking between Kang or Kodos (Simpsons fans will get the reference ), I am rather in the center and have voted for both Democrats and Republicans and usually choose between the two parties for office but can't bring myself to vote for either Presidential candidate this year. I was going to vote for Gary Johnson before he didn't know what Aleppo was and couldn't name one foreign leader in an interview, so I might just sit this one out entirely, which I never thought I'd do. But Comey is sort of in a rock and a hard place when it comes to the Hillary Clinton e-mail thing. He mentions the newly found emails before the election, it could be and has been seen as trying to politically influence the election against Hillary. He mentions this after the election, he could be accused of purposely withholding information to help Hillary. He's already come under fire for not recommending Hillary Clinton be criminally charged with anything earlier in the year. However, he did say she was careless with the emails. It's just there's a huge difference between finding someone negligent and determining whether there's enough evidence to make a prosecutable case. So many times we see technically unsolved cases on crime shows where Detectives basically name a person of interest but say they don't have enough evidence to charge him or her. This is not to say Hillary Clinton did anything wrong or didn't do anything wrong. Just that there's a difference between willful negligence and unwitting negligence and that is a hard case to prove in a court of law. I'd like to give Comey the benefit of the doubt for the time being and say if and I stress if he made any mistake it was a personal judgment mistake and not a politically motivated one, but all this controversy is why I'm not shocked we haven't seen a new top 10 addition for a bit. Sorry I know you wanted me to comment on your candidates and I went on a long rant with more comments about something else instead, it's just as much as I want to keep politics off the site, it's one of those things where I feel like I'd look worse for ignoring rather than commenting. As for your candidates, I have no disagreements. It is a bit surprising we haven't seen a child crime fugitive for four years and counting though.

(I got it lol...Kang and Kodos) Same here I was going to vote for Gary Johnson, but same with you I was disappointed when he didn't know what Aleppo was and unable to name a world leader, also my other reason was him not being able to get into the debates. I voted in the primary for Bernie Sanders (first time I ever voted) but the whole Wikileaks scandal also made me see Hillary in a different way a negative way, she is very sloppy and careless when it came to emails and that's my worry with her and I really don't like Donald Trump either because of his rhetoric. As an Independent if I'm forced to go to the ballot (because of parents) I'll write in actress Ariana Grande LOL. just because this election both major party candidates have turned me off Comey is the FBI director and his agency was investigating the email scandal but like many people we have our moments where we do our own personal misjudgment and I also think that's what Comey did but they make it seem like it's politically motivated. Now onto my favorite subject: New Top Ten fugitives, I would love to see the next top tenner be a Crimes against children fugitive and in particular the one that stands out is Ranger Lacy, because he was sighted earlier this year. But it's been a rough election cycle for everyone including the FBI and let's hope everyone is happy and have the new top tenners after November 8th. (P.S. It's okay that we talk about the emails because it's part of the FBI and it's okay to be political, I respect your political views and everyone else)

Keep in mind it's not always "worst of the worst" but while they're all bad it's often "worst of the worst that is also very recognizable." Ranger Lacy looks like Matthew Dion. Matthew Dion was caught off public tips. By that logic, he would be a better choice than some other CAC fugitives.

You know I thought the same thing too but yes he'd be better of an addition in terms of CAC fugitives.

You actually said he looks like Matthew Dion here or on another thread and I agreed.

Thank goodness tonight is the end of this contentious election season and i want it to be over so badly, i really want to see the next top tenners added but i dont know if the FBI's director Comey will likely get the ax after this election, i hope not but politicans will always find a way to ruin the good things.

Comey was given a 10-year term so it would be hard for anything to happen to him. All I can say is whatever happens happens. No matter who wins, I don't want to discuss politics anymore as well for the time being and let's hope we can see a new FBI top 10 addition soon.

Well 2 things i wanted to discuss here;
First off the FBI hasnt listed Tahja Williams as captured yet given that its been 3 weeks now and i was also wondering what everyone thinks about several of the longtime fugitives on the FBI website being really young at the time of their crimes. Daniel Min Suh was 17, Janier Montanez Jr was 18, Alejandro Sanchez was 20 and a handful of others were within that age range, Fidel Urbina has to be the most notable, but does it give anyone else hope that those cases have a chance to be solved?

I wouldn't worry too much about Tahja Williams. It wouldn't be the first time the FBI took weeks to remove someone.
And yes the capture of Fidel Urbina does give hope for other cold cases. Every week we read about a cold case capture, either a well-known one or one this site/the FBI didn't cover. The odds are against EVERY cold case fugitive getting captured, but very good that at least a couple a year will go down.

The FBI has added a man named Marlon Jones to the Ten Most Wanted list while Urbina is still on the list. Marlon killed 4 people in the LA area in October 2016.

Overall Marlon Jones' quick capture once again proves the Ten Most Wanted List and the FBI are determined to get their fugitive wherever, whenever and however they can.
Assuming no more additions occur for the rest of the year, the FBI has had a good run since the addition of Myloh Mason, by adding recent fugitives, which has paid off extensively, though it came at a price of removing 2 fugitives.
If the FBI calls it a year, it'll be the best end to a year, a longtimer and one day fugitive both listed as captured for the time being.
Honestly I'm in no rush to replace Urbina and Jones, I'm content with 2016 even if it wasn't as big as 2011.
As for the remaining 8 who are left in 2016, I think the list isn't much of a crapshoot after all IMO;
Yaser Said's time will eventually run out if his brothers or he himself slips up.
Luis Macedo will be aired on The Hunt in 2017, so the prospect of catching him is good.
The Right Tip will probably lead to Jason Derek Brown eventually, he can't run and hide forever.
Eddie Ravelo is 1 of 2 Barrio Azteca fugitives left and he's probably paranoid about all of his associates in custody, unless he's already been in jail in Mexico since his addition.
Victor Gerena could be arrested and extradited from Cuba, hopefully thats in 2017, hopefully capturing the FBI top ten record holder.
This past summers airing of Bobby Fisher on The Hunt could possibly get him caught or his remains being discovered, but again it's hard to tell.
The same thing with Brad Bishop, but let's find him sometime soon and not 400 years from now.
Finally I hope there is a change in the extradition treaty with Honduras to get Flores back or even at least work with the Honduran government to bring him back.

I know it's not Thursday but I found a throwback video on 1 of the 2 epic captures from my youth. Former FBI Ten Most Wanted fugitive #488 Jon Savarino Schillachi, who was wanted for crimes against children in 1999. That case opened my eyes a big time, especially being a 9-10 year old at the time, It led to me being more aware that children are very vulnerable to men like Schillachi. youtu.be/iLi2Ce1sovA
