Victor Gerena has been stickied to the top of the Ten Most Wanted section. On some days I feel like the FBI should give up on Gerena and find a recent fugitive for a change, on some days I feel the FBI should go full speed ahead as he's only 58 pushing 60 in 2018, so she wise we can still keep this going and I'm all for it. The restoration of US-Cuba relations gives us hope that Gerena will be sent back to the states if they locate him. The only reason I would think he's deceased is if he was executed by the Cuban regime or lived a very crappy and unhealthy life while living there and possibly died of health problems within the past 8 years. All and all I have hope and it says a lot if the FBI removed Glen Godwin over him.

I think this also proves it's best to not look too much into the FBI's weekly positioning of fugitives on the top 10 list since Gerena was once the last featured for weeks in a row.
Godwin is without a doubt the more dangerous fugitive. However, I guess the FBI has more hope for capturing Gerena with the Cuban relations thaw and him believed there while Godwin they have less of a clue as far as whereabouts.
I still feel thawed relations or not I have to wonder if Gerena still fits the list criteria as far as being a danger to the public.

I agree, the last bit is where the argument is, he probably doesn't fit the criteria anymore because he isn't a threat to public safety especially after almost 32 years and counting, but also understand that this robbery is labeled as "an act of terrorism" by the FBI, which I honestly think should have such a label removed because Puerto Rican independence groups aren't much of a problem anymore, so that also ties into him being a danger to the public and what the FBI think of the Puerto Rican independence movements threat to public safety. Gerena hasn't been heard from since September of 1983 that's a really long time and the only place he could get hide and stay hidden is in Cuba by members of the Cuban intelligence, so it's basically a Government that is hiding him. Glen Godwin isn't harbored by a government, he's footloose in god knows where at this point.

Decided to post this here but apparently on the seeking information section they just added the vandalism that occurred to the Republican Party headquarters in North Carolina back on Sunday, I'm not really a huge fan of the Republican Party and the same I'll say about the Democratic Party to a certain extent, but this act is just unacceptable to say the least, politics aside, it's not okay to use violence to get a message across and I say this as an openly admitted Independent.

I was aware of this case and was waiting to see if the FBI would add it to profile it. I will make a thread soon and share my thoughts there.

With Tahja Williams in custody now, I think perhaps Ranger Lacy or a recent fugitive may be added. There was a sighting of Lacy just this past August, if the FBI doesn't add a recent murderer to the site then I think he'll make it, but one recent murder suspect that does come to mind is Jerod Watson.

Based on the craziness of election season, we may not see another top 10 fugitive until after November 8th if not later.

Yeah I was going to point that out too right now it's too crazy and busy that perhaps mid-late November if not December because in the 2008 election, Edward Harper was added weeks after the election was over.

The FBI just added Terry A.D. Strickland to the murders section so he's a possible contender now.
