"California Highway patrol officers say Fernando Blanco is wanted for felony hit and run.
Police say that on September 1, 2000, Blanco was driving his pickup truck, when he collided with Larry Collumn Jr., who was riding an ATV. After the accident, police say, Blanco left Collumn, who had been injured and landed in a nearby canal, and fled the scene. Collumn later died and the cause of death was drowning.
Shortly after the accident, police say Blanco moved to Salome, AZ and lived there under the alias of Javier Cota. Blanco fled the area before police could arrest him."
Thoughts? The above was the AMW archive description for Fernando Leon Blanco, who was aired on the August 24th, 2002 episode of America's Most Wanted. Unfortunately, the archive no longer works for stuff like height, weight etc (we could really use that info if anyone has it). However, there are additional quirks listed which include the facts that Blanco was born in Mexico, speaks Spanish and limited English, and may be working in construction or as a farm laborer.

UPDATE: As of July 19th, 2018, I could find nothing online (aside from AMW) about this case. While I am assuming that Blanco is still at large as of this update, it is my advice to double check with the California Highway Patrol first but do call in a tip to them if you know Blanco's whereabouts.
Admin Note #1: Based on archived case description, our advice for anyone with information on the whereabouts of Fernando Blanco would be to contact the California Highway Patrol: www.chp.ca.gov/home/contact-us
