Bishop's mother was actually A French Canadian, so he may probably be in the area bordering Quebec or living in Quebec if still in North America. Vermont borders Quebec.  |

Exactly the point I'm making ☺️ and also in Vermont and Quebec they aren't suspecting of a mass murder fugitive being among them. But I do think the Bureau should focus more on Vermont and Quebec.

He was removed because he no longer fit the criteria as there were no tips coming in on him and he was living in Russia a country that won't extradite.
P.S. It happened on December 17, 2015 and was replaced by Myloh Mason who was captured on January 15, 2016

To piggyback on what toptenhunter was saying, basically that. Except it wasn't exactly a matter of no tips but that Mogilevich was pretty much living openly in Russia and hiding in plain sight but they wouldn't extradite him. So they wisely decided to replace him with a fugitive they could theoretically capture. Does anyone have an accurate timeline of where Bishop was stationed during his time in the state department? The Hunt if I recalled said Bishop was recalled back to Washington, D.C. in 1974 I think... And that meant that the last place he was stationed at before returning to D.C. May have been Ethiopia since the Communist Derg took over the country in 1974.

Now I was looking back through my old theory journals from 2008-2010 and saw that I had a bunch of theories and questions and One question I found I had was where was and what had happened to Bishop in the 1980s? We all know there were 3 confirmed sightings; Stockholm, Sweden in 1978; Sorrento, Italy in 1979 the most credible; Basel, Switzerland in 1994 which was one of the weird encounters. Between the Roy Harrell sighting in 1979 and the one in 1994, there was a 15 year gap with nothing about him. Now I have a couple of theories as to where he may have been in the 1980s and where he may or may have been recently. Here's some of my theories on Bishop I found in my journal.
Theories on his possible whereabouts in Europe 1976-1989:
Now since Bishop went on the run during the height of the Cold War, Europe was divided between East and West. The world was a bigger place back then since there was no internet or Smartphones.
•Bishop may have defected to the Warsaw Pact countries or the USSR (personally I don't think this happened)
•Bishop may have been living in Sweden say from 1976-1978 until he was spotted.
•Bishop had been more likely traveling footloose back and forth from Italy to Switzerland. Also he may have been in Austria as well which places him in Italy in 1979.
•Bishop after the 1979 sighting felt he was pushing his luck so he may have lived in the countryside somewhere in Italy, Switzerland or Scandinavia without leaving his home or decided to reside in a suburb of a major city.
•He may have been in the Former Yugoslavia in the 80s in particular Croatia.
Theories on his possible whereabouts in Europe since 1990:
•Bishop continued roaming in the Switzerland, Italy and Austria region which would place him in Basel in 1994.
•After the fall of communism Bishop may have gone to Russia or other former Warsaw Pact countries and took advantage of the transition from communism to democracy to make himself a citizen or manipulate immigration laws.
Other possible theories on his whereabouts:
•Has likely fled to Spain since he speaks fluent Spanish (this isn't actually discussed but seems likely).
•Bishop may be in Belgium since its French speaking and very unsuspecting, since he had been spotted twice in the Italy, Switzerland region.
•likely still in the United States in particular the states of California, Nevada, Vermont and Connecticut or fled to Canada in particular Quebec or New Brunswick.
•Fled to Latin America
Theories on what may have happened to Bishop:
•Traveling footloose in Europe possibly dying as a crazed loner (which would take its toll since he was suffering through depression and took anti depressant drugs and even if he had no home or a decent meal) not Long after the September 1994 sighting in Basel Switzerland.
•Bishop started a new family sometime in the late 1970s or 1980s I'd say more likely he would be in Europe or Canada if he started new family
•Bishop may still be with that woman he was allegedly seen buying Tennis shoes with in on March 2, 1976 either in the States, Canada, Latin America, or Europe.
•The woman he was seen with buying Tennis Shoes may have turned on Bishop and murdered him and disposed his body the same way he disposed his family but done successfully. (Seems very far off)
•Bishop may have worked as a school teacher, worked in blue collar work like a truck driver, gas station clerk or be involved in criminal activities as a source of income.
I know these theories may seem very far-fetched but that's what I've figured over the years and decided I'd share.

Hey whether those theories are true or not, that's an impressive list you've compiled! I guess my biggest fear is Bishop died a crazed vagabond loner in Europe somewhere. His body will NEVER be discovered if that was the case.

Thanks and I agree Bishop Roaming footloose as a crazed vagabond loner is likely though with that theory I suspect he is already deceased since his health probably took its toll on him Or perhaps he may have a new family in particular Switzerland since thats the last country he was spotted in. The other theory I have I didn't mention was him heading towards Great Britain and Ireland and starting a life there. |

 Now I came across this urban legend known simply as Le Loyon, this unidentified man who wore a military raincoat, a World War II era gas mask, walked and picked flowers in the Forest of Maules in Switzerland for a decade before someone had managed to successfully photograph in November 2013. He left the costume and abandoned with a suicide note, but the man behind the mask has not been identified nor has it been determined if the individual committed suicide himself. Now what does this have to do with Bradford Bishop? Well he was sighted in Switzerland in 1994, he speaks fluent French as you can tell "Le Loyon" and "Maules" sound French. Bishop was an avid Hiker and loved to Jog. Also Bishop's deteriorating mental state would cause him to do something like this. Le Loyon used a gas mask to hide his identity perhaps being that Bishop would feel paranoid if someone would have photographed him and he was very reclusive revengerists.wikia.com/wiki/Le_Loyon |

Oh wow, has anyone else thought of this or said this on the web? This is a GREAT theory! I think I'm inspired to submit a tip to the FBI now about this guy LOL.
Hey, I mean the FBI has investigated just about everything else about Bishop and is willing to look into anything about him, might as well look into this too.
