The discovery of Webb's remains gives some hope for Bishop. However, Webb apparently was hidden by his family in relatively plain sight still in the U.S. Bishop abandoned his family and had no one (initially at least) to help him besides a possible mystery woman mentioned on old AMW broadcasts, and could have fled anywhere in the world.
Sadly, if he died some random vagabond somewhere, they may never locate his remains.
However, I do agree the discovery of Webb's remains does give reason for some renewed optimism.

Whitey Bulger was 81 when the FBI finally caught him. Hopefully this year will be the year and especially now after the discovery of Donald Webb.

With the Lyon Sisters case Closed to some degree, Bishop now remains as Maryland's coldest case and I feel that because investigators worked hard on that case that the same result will transpire in this case as the MCPD cold case detectives will work endlessly to find Bishop.

I wish I could share your sense of optimism, and I'm usually a pretty positive person, but the only way I see this case ending is great detective work discovering something in social security records or something like that that a guy who passed away in say 1985 was really Bishop (or something like that scenario).
Discovery of Donald Webb's remains gives some hope and the Lyon sisters case as well, but in respect to Webb it was a somewhat fresher case and it was focusing on his ex-wife again that helped solve the case. Bishop, on the other hand, was a loner that killed his family. If he died some random vagabond in Europe (even though Roy Harrell's story has been contradicted, Bishop still could have died a random homeless person somewhere), he'll never be found.
I would agree that great detective work is the only way this case will ever be solved.

Sort of like a I think so and so was DB Cooper type of scenario would probably make sense and even if family members were to look back at their photos and notice that they may have similarities to Bishop.

I believe they are the same YouTube links we've posted before but nice to have a few compiled on one page.

As Scumhunter did for Jason Brown, I entered Bishop’s SS Number and found that it was issued in California in 1953 at the age of 17.

I hate to do this to you but I had already done this earlier in the thread which is why I didn't mention it in the Brown update. Anyway, as I mentioned previously, it makes sense Bishop's SS was issued there since he was born in Pasadena.
