This past week Brenda Delgado went on trial for ordering the killing of Dr. Kendra Hatcher. After four days, she was found guilty in less then half an hour and sentenced to life in prison(death penalty wasn't an option.) IMO,it will be a worse punishment then death would be because people like Brenda are all about control and she'll be going to place where she'll never have that again. I hope Kendra's family has a measure of peace now knowing everyone involved in this is now in prison. She’s very lucky Mexico won’t extradite anyone facing the death penalty. Otherwise, I think the State of Texas would have been very inclined to seek it. They sought and got it for the triggerman. I have no doubt they would have done the same for the person who ordered the hit if they didn't have to waive it in order to get her back.

Dateline covered this story last week. It's called 10 Minutes to Sunset and if you watch it, you'll be more angry and saddened then ever over this case. What a waste of a wonderful woman's life because someone else really thought murder was the solution to her issues.

Granted I haven't seen the episode yet but I assume it is yet another study into men and women like Delgado's possessiveness and delusions.
Rejection hurts, don't get me wrong. I've been rejected, we've all been rejected. But after feeling bad for a day or a few days, I move on. Most people who get rejected don't go "hey maybe if I murder someone, I'll win them back!"
Delgado was unfortunately psychotic.

If you're not an possessive or abusive jerk it can be hard for you to see the warning signs of someone who is and the idea he's being blamed for the murderous actions of his ex sickens me.
